The Commons is a fun place to hang out if you like beer and want to try different brews. This is a self-service place with a card that you tap above the brew you would like to taste. Pour as much as you want and only get charged for what you take.
The selections change so there is always something new to try. They also have a few wine selections in the back.
I enjoy the pizza. Nice thick crust and tasty toppings. Fire oven baked, so it takes a bit of time, just relax and enjoy yourself.
They just expanded their outdoor patio and have live bands and special events. Sometimes they are a closed event and sometime there is a cover charge. We were by a couple days ago and the music was booming loud. If you want to visit with your companions, not happening when the music is playing.
Dog friendly on the patios. Kids should stay at home! Not a fun place for kids, definitely for adults.

Read moreI don't know if I have just bad luck with this place but both times I have ordered from there has been terrible. The first time I went there I ordered the dessert pizza and it came out burnt. I asked the cashier for a refund and she told me they don't do refunds. Instead she gave me a card for a free pizza. Tonight I bought the old combo pizza ($23.99) and used my free card for the hawaiian. Both had burnt crusts and light on the toppings. Also, I paid for extra sauce and there was hardly any sauce on either of them. It is such a bummer because I really like The Commons. The staff is always amazing there and the vibe is very cool. Side note- I didn't get pictures of the full pizzas because my family ate before I saw them. But they agreed that these pizzas were...
Read moreThe commons an uncommon place for connecting. My first time there. I came because I follow a local band. As I got there, one staff offered to show me around. Using a band they give you you serve yourself beer. The selection was wonderful. I had the oatmeal stout. One can sample and then pick your favorite. You pay by the ounce. The concept is right on for the times. The place was set up for sitting with groups mostly. Games in a corner. A couple was playing dominos. I watched the band on the patio. Food trucks bring food. I think they rotate vendors. I felt comfortable. I love the cross sampling of beer and picking my own amount of beverage. I didnt see free water. I also didnt ask. I think if you are fired of the same old same old try...
