Restaurant Depot — Local services in Chicopee

Horrible service by register staff. I am in at least once a week and I get held up at the register every time especially on Saturdays. They let public to shop here who are spending less than hundred dollars a visit, have no idea what is where and holding restaurant owners in line who spends thousand of dollars and more per visit and if you tried to speak up they would tell you to go somewhere else. Two register is open out of five. They need to train the register staff to be courteous and add on more staff or we infect have to go somewhere else. They have no idea what restaurant owners are dealing with and have to get in and get out quickly.

The actual hard working people are in the back stocking shelves, lifting heavy items and freezing in the coolers they do have my respect. Those hard-working staff need to come work the registers and register staff should work the stocking.

Will they even care about this review? The last I checked the sign still says Restaurant Depot where restaurant...

I have been shopping at restaurant depot for over three years I always enter with a positive and friendly attitude and am received in the same manner I have seen many customers that should know better because they are in the restaurant business being rude ignorant and inconsiderate to the help and to the products that are sold they’re opening boxes that say please do not open putting food inside boxes that they don’t belong in and being rude to the cashiers and other employees there are always employees to answer questions about products help you find what you’re looking for and also assist you in putting product in your vehicle if needed if the customer does have a problem with an employee or product all they have to do is speak to a manager or a front desk employee and they will assist you in anyway possible I always look forward to my shopping experience at...

The management is awful! I had a 1700 dollars shopping trip last week, 3 carts, and I asked help to load, it was not busy. The manager was very unhappy and the supervisor said you can load all them in the shopping carts then you can load them off!! The bags can be as heavy as 50 pounds each. It took 5 minutes or so when a guy from the store to help me to put in my trailer. The store manager said tell your boss to send a person to shop with you.

I understand they are not private owned the managers do not care about sales. I bet if they are the owner they will not act like this to a customer can spend 200k a year on their store !! Bad for business. At my little shop, we help customers whatever they need, because our livhood is depend on customers!!!
