MARY is amazing, and so was the food! (super yummy, real cooked food--as if it were made at home--for super good prices, u cant beat it! ...their home fries i especially loved & were seasoned perfetly, which im picky about n have tried at a lot of diff diners & brkfst spots...the veggies in my omelet tasted fresh & were cooked just right, the bacon i ordered was perfect too ...i wish ppl wouldnt b too harsh on judging the food based on expectations of how it shld b that they cant know about if u dont ask them, & instead just ask the server ahead of time so they can kno how they'd like it..bcuz they will b happy to accommodate u if u ask!--u wont hav2 worry about here like u might b hesitant about at some othr places...which is important to keep in mind bcuz everyone has diff tastes & their own idea of what is good to them when it comes to food more often than not, so if theres one thing id like ppl to pls keep that in mind itd b that--and then pick this place! ^_^) ... Atmosphere was clean & cute, went with my bf & we both rly liked this spot (& we both noticed/agreed at how much better Mary & the other staff there r than the majority of ppl out there at most restaurants by comparison) ...overall def in my top 3 best diner service experiences ive had in my whole life! Everyone there seemed rly great too, but Mary was so excellent i just had2 say, shes perfect--very accommodating & friendly & good at what she does, which is making u feel taken care of in a way that is hard to find. such high level customer service that it rly made me wanna come back all the time & tell everyone else too (which im doing, & did b4 i left too).

Thanks again Mary, if u read this too, you're absolutely wonderful, truly a gem of a person, i hope u continue making ppl happier every day the way i know u do & u did me just seeing that there rly r still awesome ppl out there who r genuine & do care. ... i live pretty far from there n was only visiting, but if im ever in the area again ill def kno where...

I've definitely lived in the area for years, had friends who worked here, and have thought about coming so many times but still never have. Tonight I tried to go to Denny's, and quickly realized that was a huge mistake. Wasn't acknowledged, had to seat myself and grab my own menus, and never had my order taken.

I left and googled anywhere else that was open late, and 50s diner popped up. So I finally gave it a try. If you like diner food, this is definitely a great option, and fairly priced compared to most destination diners. Food is food, and honestly there are diners everywhere. I'd say the food was 4 star- but so hot and fresh!!!! The 5th star was really because of the customer service. The kitchen gave perfect, hot, fast food. And my waitress, Mary, was AMAZING. She had more customers alone than the 3 people we saw at Denny's, and never missed a beat. She greeted us, was friendly the entire time, quick, and thoughtful with her questions. She made us laugh, and you could just tell she actually cared about every single one of her customers that she was serving. We definitely even had the conversation about how food is food, but good customer service is so hard to come by these days. We even left our cell phone at the table and she brought it outside to us. I seriously appreciate having a waitress who turned my whole night around....

Food, service, personalities, and prices... all of it was great! Had 2 meals here today and both were fantastic! For breakfast I am very limited on what and where I can eat due to an egg allergy so I settled for pancakes and a side of grits (which I was honestly worried about because I'm used to southern grits and wasn't sure how they would be) to my surprise they were made perfectly! My husband loved every bit of his food (eggs, toast, and sausage) the cook sent out an extra order of pancakes because she didn't feel like the original order was good enough since the griddle wasn't hot enough. I thought it was honest and sweet that she wanted to make up for something that I hadn't even noticed was a problem... Our coffee never had a chance to get cold or empty as our sweet waitress was also very attentative. My husband had to cut her off on refilling his cup.

Breakfast was great so we went back in for dinner before we left, this time we took it to go, but the staff were just as nice and extremely accommodating. The portion sizes are HUGE and the prices are more than reasonable! The staff were super friendly and all seemed happy to be there. We had a chance to meet a couple regulars and understood why they would keep coming back! Did I mention the food...
