BEST Dispensary EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI!!
First off I will start by saying the quality and care these group of individuals are bringing to this industry is UNMATCHED! Simply Amazing!
I never write reviews but for this place I will make an exception. I used to drive 2 hrs to the Great Barrington location but I am now only 30-40 minutes away from this location. Sooo convenient. This was my experience....
I pull in and the officer in front the store greets me and says “ did someone just honk at you for turning in” I greeted him and said “I think so” and we began a quick chat about people moving too fast, Chicago white Sox, etc.
I walk in and I’m greeted with kindness and smiles. After my ID is checked I walk in and instantly see a member of the staff assisting an elderly man (75+ yrs) and guiding him to have a seat and take his time selecting his products. He is looking over the menu and explaining how he was an organic gardener for over 20 years. She proceeds to chat with him assisting him in finding products suitable for him. The snapshot of seeing how patient and informative she was instantly put me in a good mood. Service is a HUGE difference maker for me and the primary reason I support the businesses that I do. THEORY WELLNESS has first class old school hospitality. It’s evident customer service is a pillar for them. And I love them for it.
I continue on into the line which took all of 2 seconds, I went early in the morning. My bud tender was knowledgeable and let me smell what I was getting. The small batch concept really shines with the bud they have available. Always quality. Always clean. Pleasure to smoke. I bought the Garlic and the NF1. Both have been smoking beautifuly as expected from this company. Packaging was in ceramic/glass jars that were opaque. Awesome packaging!! All labeled and specs for each strain.

Read moreI came here over the weekend and had a great experience which is why I gave two stars. I was told I could get a discount for my first three visits. I was excited to come in and get the hi5 drinks and even knew which ones i wanted. When I went in I was greeted after a couple mins of waiting at the med counter. I told the guy exactly what I wanted. I said I want the 50 mg black cherry 4 packs and 2 of the 100mg cran limes. The budtender then begins to read off all of these random flavors which was ok because maybe he didn’t understand me so I reiterated what I wanted and he got everything all together. He told me my total would be 130. I explained to him that I had came in this weekend and was just told that I had two more visits for 20% off. The budtender seemed annoyed at me as if I was lying to him. I explained that this was my second time and I came Sunday and was explained that. He then explained that there were no notes. I said I don’t know what to say this is what they told me and I only came prepared to spend the money with that specific discount. I told him who cashed me out and everything. After typing for a couple minutes he then seemed annoyed and said he would add on the discount. He then doubled down to tell me the guy I said cashed me out on Sunday hasn’t worked there in 6 months. Honestly as a med patient I think this was ridiculous. I felt like he was judging me by my looks or something when I was just being sincere the whole time. Why would I lie about a 20% discount? Why would I lie about someone selling me something when I’m sure you have the availability to look up all my previous transactions. You shouldn’t offer promos if you want to selectively give them out or if it causes your budtenders such distress that they have to make their patients feel like they’re...
Read moreThis is a re-edit after recent experiences. I am not going to knock theory to hard because I truly feel in my heart they are a decent dispensary…BUT the recent slip up leads me to believe they need to retrain employees or keep a better eye on what’s going on. Sunday night (10/13) I noticed my medical allotment was missing 10.5 grams and supposedly it had been from theory. Well I hadn’t gone anywhere or even bought medicine that day nor had i visited theory in a month. I emailed theory receiving a response back litterally first thing sun up Monday morning about the incident informing me they were looking into it.
Well turns out what happened was when you go in they scan your id, then you go up to the counter and give them your ids which then gets manually entered. Somehow when they manually entered whomever was at the counters ID number they selected my profile without double checking or anything. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal but they brought my allotment from the state down to two grams from 13. They gave me a $20 credit…which can only be used for medical which I can’t even get. The reason this is a bigger deal as well is I’m a disabled vet who uses cannabis to help with my ptsd. I get a discount for being a disabled vet and living on a fixed income this means I can’t afford my medicine until theory fixes the issue, which could take 24-48 hours.
This should have never happened, the lack of oversight when running ids manually and then selecting the right profile is missing. This is a good dispo with good products and mostly amazing staff. I get mistakes happen but this is someone’s (mine) medicine.
I’ve lowered my stars from 5 to 3 for this reason as this should never happen and is 10000000% preventable. If I could I’d feel more comfortable leaving a 2.5...
