They took the service order for my freezer and then left me in limbo waiting 6 days for a call back. I called and left a VM every day after the 3 day wait he requestedâŚ. No answer and no call back. Day 6, the Fridge and myself call from a different number and he answers but tells them and I slightly different things. Heâs busy, says he doesnât have the answer to my questions, tells the company he doesnât have the papers on hand and to please call back again. Now back to waitingâŚ..
Updated with more detail after speaking to the man again: I think heâs an ok guy who means well, heâs just overloaded, and the company needs a secretary or someone to keep a list of calls needed to make and orders taken. He told me he has about 50 orders currently open and itâs impossible to keep track of who he needs to calls back so you just have to call and try to catch him. Sigh. I am utterly surprised to have read some of the reviews that Larry (the owner) was rude or not punctual. That was not at all our experience. Our LG refrigerator compressor had failed. I could find NO ONE within a 100 mile radius besides him who was qualified to touch it. Larry was straight forward and explained very well the situation regarding these refrigerators. Larry was direct and didnât give me the run-around. He gave me the confidence of his ability to fix it, and he delivered. He and his team fixed our refrigerator while I was at work. He was polite and professional when dealing with my wife. Lord willing we will not need any more appliance repairs, but should it be the case, I know who I am calling...
   Read moreLarry came out to our house to evaluate why my stove top burner wouldnt light. He left saying he would order parts. He returned (after we had to call him) to install the part. He left without installing saying he needed to bring in a "2nd opinion". That 2nd opinion never called us. I called him to be sure we were on track and he was going to follow up on the 2nd opinion. No call. SOOOOO.....over 2 months later we still have a burner that wont light.
He said that these types of repairs can be tricky and didnt want to put parts on that are not needed for the repair.
I would assume that this would mean he should get into the unit and perform some kind of test to trouble shoot the problem. I guessed wrong.
