We've lived in our home for 23 years. Raised three kids, a few dogs, and have hosted too many family get togethers to count. Our house has seem some wear and tear.
We were finally at a place to be able to get some work done, and we looked for and researched many different local contractors. We ended up going with Valley Kitchen and Bath design, and we couldn't be any happier with our selection.
Our project was pretty expansive: new vinyl flooring throughout the entire house, new baseboards throughout the entire house, painting the interior walls and doors, removing the popcorn ceiling in a few rooms, patching a few drywall holes and adding recessed lighting. Then we get to the big stuff: new kitchen countertops, sanding and painting the existing kitchen cabinets, adding some new cabinetry, replacing original tub and shower and toilet and then building a place for a new oven and mountable microwave.
I won't lie...the process was long, but that was just because of how much we were getting done. Christina was amazing the entire way through. She met with us, helped us pick out colors and accessories and was always available for questions when they arose. Every week she'd text us a schedule for the upcoming work, and coordinated all the work groups very well.
Now that we are finally finished, it literally feels like we live in a brand new house. I honestly can't believe the transformation.
Valley Kitchen and Bath were very competitive with price and availability. I'm more than pleased with the work they did. I can't recommend...
Read moreI recently remodeled my entire home and spent a lot of time searching for contractors. I settled on valley kitchen and bath because they where close to home and were very easy to get in touch with. Christina (project manager) was incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to supply different options for different materials used in the remodel. The prices charged are definitely competitive and you will be happy with the out come of their work. Communication is very important for me so always being able to reach Christina was great. Dustin and his crew where also very polite and considerate. They treated my home as if it was there own. If there was a problem with any of the work done, they made sure it was fixed ASAP. The 2 main projects where a bathroom remodel and a kitchen remodel, both came out better than expected. Christina mentioned instead of replacing my kitchen cabinets to instead refinish them. Which meant making new doors and drawers then painting everything the same color. The quartz’s countertop was installed perfectly and so was the tile backsplash. The bathroom was also done very well. Other projects included installed wood flooring in 4 bedrooms, painting interior of house, and lots of electrical and plumbing work. At the end of the day i couldn’t be happier with the work done on my home. I will be using valley kitchen for any remodeling services on my home and my...
Read moreWhere do I begin? I would give 0 stars if that were possible. Christina had excuse after excuse as to why she was late or unavailable to meet to discuss the materials on our bathroom. $20000 on a 15 x 6 bathroom and using substandard products and fixtures. She was offended and unprofessional when I voiced my concerns (RED FLAG!). After 2 months of trying, I never recieved an accurate estimate. Then Adriana, the "manager" tells me that their tile person "isn't that good" and "is very new" so she did not think he could do a quality job in an upstairs bathroom. RED FLAG! It is unfortunate but Valley Kitchen and Bath is not going to make it here in Chowchilla if that is how they...
