Panaderia Conchita — Restaurant in Chowchilla

We come to conchitas a lot, especially for breakfast. I work from home most days and sometimes I crave a burrito. The food is typically good and the service is okay. My only complaint is to be accountable for your mistakes.

I called today and made an order for three burritos. I went to pick up, paid, grabbed my bag and ran because I had to start work in 20 minutes and wanted time to eat. I got home... only had 2. I ran back with like 10 minutes before having to start work and was told she only heard me ask for 2 so she charged me for a third one.

If someone is complaining to you about you not taking their order correctly and not even confirming the order, you should correct it yourself and if that burrito wasn’t for someone else and it was for me, I never would have paid for another.

On top of that, I was made late for a super important meeting for work and I DIDNT EVEN GET TO EAT...

Great small restaurant. The food is great and prices are awesome. I got burrito and tacos. The meat was really good. I got the carnitas and meat was not greasy as some other places. Tacos were simple and very tasty. Inside is large and has a few booth. It is spacious. The service is very good. Personnel is courteous and polite. Accept card and cash. Plenty of parking in the street (S. 3rd st). The restaurant is not easy to see coming from Robertson blvd but Access is convenient. I definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant for the food. Hadn't been to Conchitas in over a year... Last time we came, the menudo my mother ordered, smelled bad...we returned it, and left... Today my daughter, and I were looking for somewhere we could sit down, and grab a quick bite. We decided to try Conchitas again...and were pleasantly surprised.... She ordered a lengua burrito, and I had a flautas combo. Both were delicious... way better than before... $23.50 for our dinner... 4 stars because the salsas are NOT that good... And $3.99 for an horchata, is a bit pricey, especially...
