There is a lot I like about this store: Its the second closest store to me, the staff is friendly and helpful, they have a ton of Gunpla and Plamo kits in stock, they also have a ton of kit building tools and supplies in stock, they have a huge selection of authentic Japanese snacks and drinks too which make for a fun extra to add to your cart. All great there. What is a con for me, and a big one at that, is the pricing a lot of this stuff is set at. Some of these kits are $20.00 more than they go for pretty much anywhere else. Nu Gundam Ver. Ka is priced at $101.00 and the "Alex" Gundam is like $84.00. Picked up both recently for $77.00 and $64.00 respectively. Paints and other supplies are $2.00 or even $5.00 higher as well. I do understand and am sympathetic to the supply and shipping issues hitting the hobby market right now, as they are hitting pretty much every market around the world to some degree, but I can't understand why such a price difference would exist from this store to just about every other US based seller. I'm not dumping on this store, as I said, there is a lot to like, and I will likely keep buying from them in situations where that item just isn't available from anywhere else when I want it. Fo me to be a regular customer though, they would have to make some big changes to how they price their inventory. Either way, I encourage anyone reading this to check out the store and judge for yourself. It really is an impressive collection of hobby goodness that I've never seen in...
Read moreIf you are a gunpla fan, DO NOT GO HERE. I repeat stay away .. you'll go broke within seconds, it's heavenly..
So first off, the gentleman behind the counter (I believe it was the owner) is absolutely amazing. High energy, super friendly, instantly stopped and gave us a tour absolutely love the shop simply because of him immediately .
They have a literal ton of kits, many many limited built kits on display, monthly raffles, super welcoming feel. The kits are all grouped by grade, mostly. Tons of PG kits 11 different kits, probably 100 or so different MG kits, RG and HG have tons as well. They cater to some board games, some table top, and other kits as well.
They have tables for building, paints, stand kits, I honestly don't think I seen the entire store properly in the 30-40 minutes we were there .
Don't come here hungry! They have a little snack room full of tons and tons of delicious Japanese sugar treats that will tempt you until you break and start eating them all.
Honestly, I think my only complaint is I didn't come in before the bandai price hikes. But they did have a MG psycho Zaku that came home with me, and quite a few WoM kits for my wife.
Ill definitely be going back. And forget what I said, break out the CC and go run wild. Stores like this deserve every penny for their massive catering to our gunpla...
Read moreIt's really hard to describe how I truly feel about my visit here. I live in ohio. I had been wanting to visit this store for years. I had finally convinced my family to go while we vacationed in Orlando. It was worth every minute that I had waited. I've never had a specific hobby store like this anywhere, ever. There were so many neat supplies and varieties of things to oogle at. The anticipation was real, the hype was real. This place is awesome. On the particular day I stopped by Musashi might not have agreed. He was short staffed due to vacations and what not, kits were everywhere, things were amuck. It was a beautiful disaster though, so much new stock, so many things laying about. Personally I thought it was awesome. Musashi was so helpful to literally every customer who came in through the door. It was surreal. Im really happy I made the trip out. Thank you again. Thank you for all your uploads, build days, podcasts, everything you do for the community. You have no idea how impactful and impressionable you've been during my gunpla journey.
Musashi, you truly are a stand up fella. I really am honored to have met you. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
P.s. thank you for the incredible variety you provide as well. I scored a lot of stuff I had never seen in...
