I just waited in line today for over 15 minutes watching the customer in front of me steal clothes, shampoo and other items as Maria the cashier assisted her in her act of theft by placing items in the plastic bags that she did not scan or pay for. Since the cashier was aware of the act they both were committing there was no point in saying anything. While making my payment (by card) the stealing customers groceries were intertwined with mine on the round about of plastic bags. She reached for one of my items and I quickly grabbed all of my purchases and placed them in the cart to ensure that she would not take my purchases with her. She still remained standing behind me as I placed my card in the chip reader for payment. I got the impression that she might be trying to steal my credit card information from the lack of personal space she did not provide as I finalized my payment. I turned my body in a way that she would not be able to see me type in my pin number which appeared to have offended the cashier. During checkout, Maria scanned my items and placed them in the bags or so I thought. after completing my payment, I noticed there were still 3 of my items on the conveyor belt. I thought Maria accidentally missed them and told her as I pointed to the items that those were all mine too. She responded by saying "I know, that why I already charged you." I asked her again was she sure that she got everything and she said " yea you already pay." I said okay and proceeded to place my things in the cart. Right before me and my cart roll away from the register Maria says "are you want that?" (Bad English) and points to my cart. I said yea, and reminded her that she just told me that she got everything. She started speaking in Spanish and the customer behind me translated and told me " Shes talking about the stick" At this point I was completely APALLED given that I just witnessed the act of her directly assisting the customer in front of me steal and wrongly accusing me of stealing, given that I just asked her several times did she get everything. I brought this to her attention as she completely denied it. Hopefully Walmart's cameras will catch cashiers like Maria, that take advantage of their position. It's grotesquely disgusting that discriminatory acts like this increases prices and therefore DOES NOT save money so that you can...
Read moreThis little Walmart store is a 33y/o reliable neighborhood hub that often takes a lot of heat for being disorderly and disheveled sometimes, often with products messed around with and a fully packed parking lot with all kinds of Hispanic and Latino mini food trucks and multiple Mini Bodega type Marketplace Vehicles outside. But, since 1990 when this shopping center and Walmart were built, the store has been a hub, alongside with Publix across Waters avenue, supporting the people of town & country, twelve oaks, Pinehurst, Rocky Creek, Tarpon Junction, and the entire general area of over 80,000 people who run there whenever a hurricane is coming or an emergency happens. We really rely a lot on the hard-working employees of this Walmart and I just want to thank them very much, from my family and from our community for always being there to put up with the community's messy nature sometimes. Thanks for putting up with their loudness, their demands for special service, and the product browsing around that often gets out of control; ....but you always make it right and keep the store together. Your hard workers who do the stock & inventory, and restocking in the evenings, are always working extremely hard; sweating and pushing-forward hard throughout the night so the store will reopen fresh again the following morning. They're truly men and women of loyalty and devotion to the community and company, and I thank you all, so very much, for keeping this store together with your robust and exemplary work ethic! The store is undersized for the over-grown community, yet essential for all of us. The workers of this WALMART are truly the ideal personification of "essential workers". Thanks again guys (ladies and gents) for your hard work and for always being there for your store and your community. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed; it is greatly appreciated and respected....
Read moreThis is my worst experience at Walmart... about 4:00pm i went today to buy a corona pack an a Cheetos package...im 39 now, they not only ask for my ID...they also demanded my wife id (she doesn't have it with her at the moment) why this craziness? I was with my 2 kids, i felt like at some point the cashier lady will be requiring their ID as well... She showed stoicism following the rules...she declined my "Big purchase" and forced me to wait for a manager that never showed up....after 10 minutes waiting, i felt like nothing there, waiting with my empty shopping cart, while the cashier conituned to attend the rest of the line, like i wasn't there... After asking here where was the manager coming, she said: if you want, you can go to customer services.... Totally hurted, and feeling like real sh.. i went there....the wanting line was impressive...i just turned back...took another beer pack, went to the self pay area, and finished the process with the assistance of the lady over there...
I not only felt betrayed an slauthered by Walmart today (i spend about 12000 every year here because the closest market to my home it's a Walmart supercenter). I feel like Walmart is violating my rights...im not a lawyer, but i try to respect and follow the low in this country that welcomed us with open arms...to the best of my knowledge you should be 21 or older to get any alcoholic beverage...why is Walmart asking for Id in a first place if I'm 39 years old? Why everyone with me has to show the id as well? A total...
