Had men’s ring made, also a wedding band to go with my fiancés wedding ring, I “sold them a gold ring” being unaware because the agreement or deal was done in Spanish in front of me that I had that was a little over two grams instead of using that gold for making the rings they “bought the gold ring from me” aside from my ring (was told 200, was 250 when I went to pick it up) being lighter and smaller than what I gave them the wedding band for my fiancé was supposed to be done Tuesday this week, no calls or updates , I had to call several times and received one call back if those calls I made checking on the ring(current week) , I was told to be there at 3pm today to pick it up, it would be done, I sat around for an hour. The ring was altered to be lower to make it easier for them to complete the job rather than what we asked for, the “estimate “ we got was 60.00 cheaper than the max of what it would cost which was made up for in taxes , another thing that bothered me was when we were discussing the prices, what we wanted etc, the owner would talk in Spanish knowing I don’t understand , I felt like it was rude but most of all because she spoke with my wife which might not be as sharp or knowledgeable about what we were trying to accomplish and have done regarding trading my gold ring which was heavier than the men’s ring I received and the wedding band , “selling them the ring for a price they came up with without my understanding” vs using the gold I brought to make the rings. I’ve used this place before in the past to resize watches and one broke about 6 months ago “the pin went bad” which I noticed a review about that also, either way, for what I paid it wasn’t worth it in my opinion, the service wasn’t anything special, and the ring is .. what it is. They have top class customer service! They can make repairs that same day, while you wait or go enjoy yourself for a couple hours. The attention to detail is by far the best jeweler I’ve been too in my life. They have also made custom rings for me that they will send you a 3D model of it THEN 3D print the jewelry to make sure it it fits and looks exactly how you want it! If you can imagine it, they do it! True artisans!!!! I can’t highlight that enough! This will be the jeweler I use till the day I die and pass down my art pieces of jewelry to my family, they have been advised on where to go to maintain the integrity of these vintage pieces. I highly recommend Moulinier! I wanted to customize a pair of sunglasses by having diamonds set into the side emblems on the arms of the glasses. It was an odd job, as I had visited a handful of other jewelers in the area. Everywhere else I went said they couldn't do the work and that it wasn't possible. But at Moulinier, Ivette gladly said they could do the work as long as the emblem material was made of metal, and quoted me a fair price for it.
