I have been a loyal customer of For Your Listening Pleasure for several years now. During that time Chad and his team have expertly and lovingly restored 4 vintage radios and one radio/phonograph console for me, ranging in age from the mid-1930s to the mid-1960s. The FYLP team have consistently demonstrated the highest quality workmanship, customer service, and attention to detail in each of those projects. They have worked miracles to bring back to life and original appearance my 60-90 year old radios and phonograph. I am surrounded now by these delightful and beautiful technology artifacts that function as if they are new. It is really quite remarkable the work that they do. I always tell them that they are re-creating heirlooms -- history, technology and beautiful objects from days gone by that you can actually use and enjoy. It's such a thrill each time I receive a restored piece back from FYLP. Well done and thank you for all...

I do not have enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this shop is and how thankful I am to have my great aunt's hifi working again!
Pro tip - if you can, ship your fragile, irreplaceable piece of equipment in a crate if large, or a cooler if smaller. My turntable weathered the trip up to NY in a double packing, double box setup, but the delivery company did damage it on the return trip.
Whatever you think is well packaged and protected, is really not. Save the heartache and ship using a non easily crushed container (like a cooler.) FYLP Restoration happily accepted it back and fixed the, thankfully nonextensive, damage as if it never happened!
Thank You, Thank...
Read moreContacted FYLP in Jan 24 to ship my radio for full restoration, they told it was a 8 month wait, to fill out the paperwork online and my name was added to a "wait list." They would contact me when I could ship my radio. No contact at 8 months, so I called them. They threw away the "wait list" never called/emailed to let me know! Attitude was very "so what" I was ready to pay BIG $$$ to have this special item lovingly restored. Life has taught me if it's bad from the beginning, it isn't going to get better and you'll wish you had listen to your gut. I'm amazed how business like this stay...
