Ranger Outfitters — Local services in City of Corning

I come here about once or twice a year. This outfitter is legit! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. While I was still on the military, I was always able to find the gear I needed, and they would order items that weren't in stock. Now that I'm retired, I go here to get outdoor items or stuff for camping. I also go here to help my son's pick out gear, as my three oldest are now in the Army.

I went there today to let my son pick out a birthday/welcome to the Army gift. We had a great time talking with the owner about gear and Army stories. My youngest son bought an MRE, and after talking to him about the hiking and stuff, he threw in a free map of the area we live and told us about some cool camping and fishing spots.

Amazing staff my gf and I went in here to check it out . And neither one of us are rangers, military, or police but we love the outdoors. And for such a small place man they have so much rugged hiking and outdoor gear in such a small space . I need buying a nice watch , some hiking silver wear , I'll definitely be back to get that hiking filtered water set , and reflector vest and big spray. Also nice to know they do a hiking guide for people who are looking to learn more about hiking outside of just basic trails.the guy was awesome. Super friendly easy to talk to and full of knowledge. I can't wait to take my gf and her kid to one of those...

Really knowledgeable, he will definitely talk to you to find out exactly what your needs are so get can get you set up. He's definitely a friendly owner. And he's also a trail guide too. so he definitely will make sure you know what you're getting and how to use.
