Contemporary Trends Inc. — Local services in City of Ithaca

Absolutely top notch customer service. I really can't say enough good about how we were treated. The showroom was beautiful and sales pressure non-existant. We bought a new mattress from Contemporary Trends and then had some second thoughts about what model would be best for us. They patiently fielded our many calls, advocated for us with the supplier, eventually got us an upgraded model with no extra cost, and refused to charge us in the meantime. When delivered, the owner disclosed that the box spring had been scuffed in delivery, and charged us half price without our asking about or even noticing the (barely perceptible) damage. I'm not one to write reviews, but the moral of the story is: if they have what you want then buy it from them. Good people...

I have bought multiple items from Contemporary Trends over the years and what a wonderful business it is! The owners and employees will go out of their way to make sure that their customers are satisfied and they offer excellent delivery services as well (all of the people who work at Contemporary Trends are knowledgeable about the products that they sell and patient in answering customer questions). Highly recommended especially if you enjoy supporting a family run local Ithaca business and enjoy spending your money on...

Terrible service, more than once. I'm all for low pressure sales techniques, but someone working in retail should stop drinking their coffee to say hello to the ONLY customer in the store (yes, they saw me) and ask if I needed help or had any questions. I've purchased lovely things there in the past but...
