My son turned 4 this weekend. I was skeptical about hosting the party at this location only because I was biased from previous experience with the way the establishment was while I was a teen, however I thought since it was unded new management and my son insisted on a bowling party it would be better to host in the town we live in (instead of the chester bowling alley) I regret making this decision. Before I booked my party I had asked two questions.1.Did they have a table I could use , and if so can I bring my own cake. 2. was I able to custom decorate a table for my son according to the theme he wanted. I was told yes that I would.get at least 15 min to set up my area, I was told that I could request a corner lane in order to have a table by a wall. When I got there the day of my party, the place was crowded with people due to a function which the workers continued to repeat me "was not suppose to happen" I didnt care that there were many people but I was told due to the "funtion" that was not suppose to happen, I had to wait until 230( which is when guest were suppose to arrive) until I can set up. At 2:30 I would also have to wait for them to clean up my area. I explained to them that I needed a few minutes to decorate a table for the guest they said someone has the lane for another hour and we cant kick them out, and I stated that its poor time managment since they already knew a party was scheduled at 230, i was not apologized to or reassured that it would be handled properly instead I had to stand around while holding a birthday cake and decorations waiting to be guided when they felt it was time even though they had my deposit. As a mom who had invited classmates and had parents I had not met yet,it was embarassing to have to greet them at 230pm and have to decorate and set up at the same time. This place was not ideal for a party. Thr "host" that was suppose to be a help was not. She brought food out before bringing plates and utensils out, after I had asked her to get them several times. One pitcher of soda put out for the first hour even though ai have about 25 ppl there abd had asked for punch and water to be placed out. Also they should have the kids names and shoes sizes in before the date of party to be more organized. Btw when it was time to go to out lanes noone cleaned up or even swept. I had to clear area myself. I would never host another party here again and will be trying chester lanes for another time. Very unorganized, management was rude, and the rest was just messy . Thank God my guest were able to see beyond these issues and my 4 year old was able to not...
Β Β Β Read moreLots of FUN!! Went to Quinz Pinz for the first time last night with my husband, brother and sister in law. We had a blast. We went for their themed Bowling night. "The Big Labowski" one of the weirdest and funnest movies out there. They played the movie on the bowling alley screens all night. Served White Russion Pitchers all night and hosted the first Big Labowski costume contest. People attending the themed bowling party dressed up as characters from the movie. It was so fun. I went online a week in advance to reserve our lane to be sure there was no wait. Wich was a great option. We paid for the time we would be there and our shoes. I even received a phone call from Quinz Pins to vonfirm our reservation. On our visit My husband and I went earlier to have dinner in their restaurant. The decor is clean, modern and Fresh. This establishment has been there for YEARS and is family owned! The owner greeted us as we walked into the restaurant. She was very sweet, funny down to earth. She told us a little history about her family and the bowling alley. Told us about the Escape rooms they have and the specials in the restaurant. Since we had a reservation she was kind and signed us in and started a tab. We ordered apps the Jack Daniel wings which were mine and my husbands favorite. House made Jack Daniels sauce with REAL Whiskey no store bought stuff. Amazing! We also had the Cheeseburger egg rolls which were also good! I had the Special fish Tacosbfor my dinner. The corn tacos were stuffed with fish topped with a shot of fireball yes i said Fireball. A creamy slaw and pineapple. It was very tastey. Husband had the endulgance burger and he loved it. Big burger topped with slow cooked hoise made smokey brisket, onion jam, grilled onions on a nice fresh bun side of fries. He loved it. The beef is brought in from a local farm in the nearby town of Ottisville. So you know you are getting your foods ingredients local and Fresh! After dinner we went out to the Arcade area where you can play video games. We played for a while then went back in to the Full Bar Lounge area where you can sit comfortably in a setting of cusioned benches, tables with chairs and a fireplace with couches. Our event started at 8 it was a blast for the 2 hours we were there bowling. Even won a Big Labowski T-Shirt from the Door Prize raffle. We had a Great time. I highly suggest you try Quinz pinz out for yourself. It has plenty of parking!! Easy to get to in the City of...
Β Β Β Read moreUpdate: I posted a screenshot of the owers reply to this post... SMH, my point exactly. I would not recommend this place to anyone because it's clear to me that they don't care about their customers after they've been paid.
To the owners: I always give honest based on my experience, nothing personal, but use it to strengthen your business where it is lacking. thanks for your response though.
Purchased the bronze package deal with 2 hours bowling, a pizza, and a pitcher of soda for $49... The pizza was just cheese and was half burnt on the bottom. It was most likely a frozen pizza. They put us in for 1 hour instead of 2 hours, so we listed the progress of our second game when the 1hr ended. Notified the front desk, and they said they would fix it right away, but we ended up sitting at the lane for 20min before going back to the front desk to have them start the game. When checking my bank account, I saw that I had been charged $50.52 twice. I called Quinnz Pinz a total of 3 times 3 different days about resolving the charges, but each time they tell me I need to speak to the owners Bobby or Jamie, neither one of them are in today, call backtomorrow. The third time I called, they said they were out of town. The atmosphere was great. The menu was extremely expensive for the low quality and quantity of food. Service sucked but the staff...
