The Taco Factory — Restaurant in City of Middletown

Slow is an understatement... you could easily order something at around lunch time (2:00-2:30) and get it for dinner (4-5:00)... the food is not bad, but letting customers waiting for any more than 20-30 minutes to get plates served (any amount of food) in any case is unacceptable... saw door-dash orders served back and forth, but our food would simply not come out, no drinks offered, no service at all... I only waited patiently because my two kids were really hungry... When the food finally made it to our table it wasn’t really hot... some was ok , but the al pastor tacos were certainly bad tasting, instead of a good adobo, they must have used a overwhelmingly unsuited sweet bbq sauce which is not what a pastor meat should taste like... truly disappointed, I see a lot of decent reviews, but in my experience not much that reflects what those reviews state!!!

First of all I would like to mention to all the people who gave a a star to this family owned authentic Mexican restaurant are misleading and in fact there creditinals are invalid and false. The only accurate fact of the first star review is that this restaurant takes the time to perfect its food which they make fresh on the spot and nothing is frozen beside some of the meat for preservation purposes. There prices are reasonable for te excellent quality and customer service they present. There plates WILL fill you up. They are authentic Mexican restaurant , which represents the culture of the Mexican people and heritage. Moreover, the explanations that I was provided against the false reviewers from the main chef, I was appealing and in fact to the point. You will not find instant gratification of food in this restaurant. They will cook you home made grade food which no company or fast food joint can beat. Taco factory Middletown review I walked in and was IMMEDIATELY greeted by Juan which I believe is the owner! I will say to take someone on a date or just to simply grab a bite to eat this place walking into it is nothing but pleasant. You walk in and you feel the culture in this beautiful establishment. the pictures on the wall down to the furniture simply magnificent. First stop always the bathroom to wash your hands and, of course probably one of the CLEANEST bathrooms I’ve ever walked into. Once seated Juan brought me over chips that are like no other chip chicharrines I’ve tasted before they taste very delicious by its self lightly salted, perfect! The wait time for 4 tacos received was probably about 7-10 minutes but once I got to them oh my taste buds were in heaven! Called gorditas I got chicken let me tell you!
