The bookstore has this old kind of crusty feel to it, like you just stepped into the staunchy past. There's a lot of books and they seem to be well organized. The owner hides out in his office on the second floor where I imagine he's busy sending off snail mail letters to Thomas Payne or someone else from a much earlier day. Read moreI'm not really into physical books or bookshops but stumbled in with a friend after having lunch at Big Ditch. This place was quite remarkable! It was a huge multi-level store with a wide variety of any and every genre of books.
However, what intrigued me more than the rows upon rows of books was the selection of antique maps that they had for sale- it was remarkable.
They even have a special "collectors" room which requires special permission and a chaperone to enter.
