Gentlemens Club Barbershop — Local services in City of North Tonawanda

I figured I'd wait for a few visits before I rated. They are a very friendly staff, and the place has always been clean.

I had three chops on three separate occasions (all the same hairstyle), and the girls seemed to do a quick cut and call it quits (only one gave me the straight razor), whereas the guy gave me the best haircut I ever received in my life. He took about 20 or so minutes to really fine-tune his work, and I very much appreciated it.

Going back I will request one of the guys, even if it means waiting longer. It will be well worth my time. 5/5 stars for Rob!

In hindsight, I noticed that, after perusing their website, they never gave me the discount for a first-time haircut. A lot of the people in there seemed like regulars, so I was surprised no one asked me if it was my first time getting a haircut there. I don't want to be that guy that walks in an asks for the discount--I feel as if they should have asked.

So, with everything in mind, I'd rank them a 3/5, with vast potential...

Walked in and was happy the barbers were following covid protocols. Two barbers on staff and I was taken immediately.

The woman cutting my hair (sorry first time there but didn't catch her name)... asked me my preference and said tight on the sides and thin out the top. She used shears and thinning shears to blend in my top to the sides. Most times most barbers depend too much on the electric shaver instead of showing a lost art of cutting hair.

Very pleased with the results and will certainly be back often.

Plus while cutting my hair another person came in and was told to take a number and wait outside until either of the barbers were done.

Decent hair cut for $10, but owner is RUDE! He yells at customers, and even thought the posted hours state they close at 7pm, he starts telling everyone at 6pm that hes walking out the door at 7:00 even if he's in the middle of a cut (I doubt this, but again, very rude.) Also, don't show up between 9-10am... that's seniors hour and he will reprimand anyone under 65 for walking into the establishment. Additionally, the first time I had my hair cut, him and his friend were giving overly inappropriate detaiIs of their intimate relations with female friends, absolutely disgusting. I recommend going anywhere else, paying $15, and getting a better haircut and proper...
