Read moreI stopped in for a cup of coffee and that was how I learned about the store and concept. My family has lived in the City of Poughkeepsie for almost 10 years and I hadnât known this was here, so I was very curious to look around. The space is really well-designed and nice to look at, and I thought it was cool that the store is dedicated to sustainable clothing. That said, my jaw literally dropped when I saw the price tags. Even basic cotton t-shirts were 80-100 dollars. Iâm all for sustainable clothingâand part of being sustainable is being affordable and accessible in my opinion. I feel like this place is completely out of touch with the community and is frankly an example of gentrification at its worst and most toxic. I would much rather spend my money and spend time at a small business that serves the needs of the community it is located in and is...
