I purchased a washer from Quality Home furnishings in February of 2015. I was given a 30 day warranty. After about a month and a half I noticed the washer was leaking slowly on my carpet in my laundry room. I didn't make a big deal because it was a small portion of water and at this point I was past my warranty and knew that the company wouldn't do anything. On Monday June 15th, 2015 I put a load of laundry in the washer and the washer begin to leak on to my carpet. i turned the washer off and noticed it was coming from the bottom of the washer. At this point the water filled my laundry room which was carpet and everything was soaked. I has someone come look at the washer and as they were looking at the washer we noticed that the barrel where the clothes go had a crack at the bottom of it. this you wouldn't be able to see unless you were looking underneath the washer. The crack was surrounded by white tape and what appears to be some type of puddy to hold the crack together. This was disturbing because I had faith in the company because I purchased other items from this company with no issue. Now i am out of a washer and have to invest money into some how getting the carpet dried because it started to smell like wet mildew. So I called and spoke to the store manager which was a woman and explained my concern about the tape and puddy that was used to manipulate the washer to work for a short period of time. what she told me was " you paid $150, we only inspect top to bottom for anything that's over $200. when we got the washer we just did one cycle to see if leaked. if it didn't then we tried another cycle the next day. as long as there were no leaks then we sold the washer." So basically because I didn't spend $200 or more i was not ensured that my product was in decent condition to be sold and the woman manager was very uncaring. i explained my issue and she seemed as to have an answer for everything and was putting the blame on someone other than her company. As a manager you should care about the issue and not sell bogus products that are "fixed" to only last a short while. Read moreI bought a washer and dryer set for Christmas the dryer lasted 3 months didn't have the money to get it fixed for a while finally decided to get it fixed call to find out if I can get maintenance on my dryer they told me they would call me for the maintenance man nobody called call back three more times the fourth time they told me that they were going to send somebody to pick it up and I'm like what why would you have to pick my watch my dryer up why can't you fix it there Sears does it and all the rest of them will fix it at your home I think that's some kind of scam that to get you out your money but when he did come to fix it he told me you couldn't fix it here he had to take it to the shop I'm like that's kind of strange to me so let him take it he told me it was $55 when it showed up gave him the money then I'm like okay I'm kind of skeptical about you guys taking it because you can tell me anything about what's wrong with it and charge me whatever you want he says no he called the office office told him it wouldn't be no more than $80 okay they called me a week later and told me it was fixed and told me I had a balance of $120 so totally it up now I'm sitting here waiting on my why I called them that morning and told them I was home to deliver my dryer my dryer they told me that they were going to deliver it within 45 minutes to an hour I get a call back the lady told me well something was going on and it would take them a couple of hours so I said okay fine couple hours after a couple hours went by if you can 12:30 called her back she gave me these excuses about why they can't deliver it and then she told me something about comparing them to a cable company when the cable company tells you they're going to be there they don't tell you a certain time you just got to be there and wait for him no it don't work that way bad business bad service bad everything do not shop at this place it's the worst and I still haven't received my dryer yet in...

I was supposed to receive a washer on a Saturday January 26th and was told their time frame for delivery was between 9am-1pm, but if busy could be until 5pm, when they close. I was also advised that they would be giving me a call, 30 minutes before arriving. Saturday being my only day off for the week, I had gotten up early and waited around my house for the call or delivery. There was no call, and leaving my house for the first time after 5pm, I had found a note attached to the door saying someone had come at 5pm. I did not hear a knock at the door or receive a call to let me know they were here. It seems they just stopped by quickly since it was end of day and left a note for their own sake.
