Smokin Joes Bar & Grill — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Wonderful experiance ..... in town from South Carolina for the holidays. Met up with a few of my nephews for a holiday drink. Most places were closed early but not Smokin' Joe's. We were greeted with a warm smile and the few patrons that were there seemed to be there to have a last minute drink in this cozy atmosphere. The bartender was wonderful lady that didnt seem to mind being there on Xmas eve. We had a few drinks ,engaged in a little holiday talk and laughed quite a bit. although the bartender left before we did to do some last minute Xmas wrapping her company and conversation alone was enough to make that a spot that I will definitly visit before I leave and when I come home to visit again. ( The bartender was Joe's Ol' lady ........

I was visiting from out of town and I was recommended to Smokin Joe's. The bartender on this particular Sunday the 15th. She was arguing with customers about her personal business, ignoring multiple request and even opened MY bag of chips. I feel as if the food should be served until at least 12. I went in at a descent hour of 2254 and the food shack was closed. I was pretty disappointed in the service. Everyone else tells me the bartenders there are good so maybe it was just this particular bartender that made my experience...

The ones are the best. Fantastic Rochester music from all of the greats. Ya never know who will stop in or who you are standing next to. People are great and food is wonderful for a fast menu. Once you eat a burger you will have to go home for a nap. They are massive and price is perfect. Thank you all...
