We are so glad we chose Olney's to do our wedding flowers! The bouquets were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The staff at Olney's was super helpful throughout the planning process. We changed a few things not long before the wedding and they helped us decide what would be best by giving great suggestions. The week of the wedding we even looked at the flowers and worked with Emily, Lauren, Sam, and Will to plan the best flowers to use. Their help was incredibly helpful during a stressful week. They created flowers for our arch, aisle decorations, ceremony decorations, bouquets, bouts, corsages, centerpieces, cake flowers, and more. We wanted a unique centerpiece with succulent planters and Adelia pulled it off! So many people were telling us how beautiful they were and they wanted to take centerpieces home. When I walked into the reception, I was blown away by how many flowers there were and how beautiful they looked. Olney's helped us to transport flowers from the ceremony to the reception in a timely manner and made it look effortless. Everyone told us they had never seen more beautiful flowers. The flowers and meeting and working with Emily were great. I purchased a bridal bouquet for my wedding, and the flowers were great but they were not what I asked for. We met once, and had an over the phone last consultation about my bouquet before my wedding, and I am not sure if we were just not on the same page but they were not what I was looking for. They were beautiful white garden roses which is what I wanted, but I specifically asked for small pink roses so the white roses would stand out and I received both pink and white garden roses. I also wanted more eucalyptus than anything and received NO eucalyptus in there. I wanted queens anne lace, along with baby's breath and received practically nothing. I paid 200 dollars for a bouquet that wasn't what I wanted. I received many compliments on my bouquet and like I said, it was beautiful but when you plan a wedding down to the last detail and pay that much for your bouquet you should get what was discussed. This is a florist who knows the meaning of customer service. I ordered flowers to be sent to a friend at a nursing home in Rome. I had only known my friend by one name. When the florist tried to deliver the flowers they were told that there was no one there by that name. I called the nursing home and asked them to give the flowers to someone that doesn't get visitors and they did. In the meantime my friend heard the staff talking about flowers that came for a Vicki. She told them that she was Vickie, but that was her middle name and most people call her Vicki. The facility called this florist to tell them what happened. That would have been the end of the story at most florists, but not this one! They made up other basket and had it delivered to my friend. WOW, who does that these days.
