TL,DR: Inconsistent coffee and lengthy waits for online orders despite few people ahead of me. Food is good. Can't get cold drinks correct either... **UPDATED REVIEW** Ok, so since posting my original review, I've been back twice. The first time I ordered green tea, and the order came perfectly with no wait. However I went back again this morning, and ordered green tea again. You can see by the photo that is CLEARLY NOT green tea. Lol... this summarizes exactly what all the reviews say...I honestly didn't notice until I had pulled out of the drive thru and got a few miles down the road...I didn't want to return to the store, nor did I really have time. I guess they can't do cold drinks consistently correct either. ORIGINAL REVIEW I'm one of those that really wouldn't pay 5 bucks for a cup of coffee, but I received gift cards as gifts from coworkers... and I leave this review not to bash (that much, lol), but in hopes there's a few pieces of constructive criticism that may be helpful. Also, I know it's a new setup, and maybe it's still in the learning phase, but I've been there 4 times and I'd like to share my experiences. I have been inside once just to look, but rather I order using the app and drive thru to pick it up. Looks nice inside... First time: Online order... breakfast item and coffee. Coffee was hot, but despite being 1 of 3 people in the drive thru, it took 14 minutes to pick up my order. I thought, ok... they are getting used to procedures, ... it's fine. Bagel was ok... nothing special...but hey, it's a bagel. Second time: Online order...same order as previous visit. Waited close to 10 minutes having only 1 car in front of me. Got up to the window and they handed me an iced coffee... not what I ordered. Took another 4 minutes to make my new coffee. Close to 15 minutes total to get a cup of coffee and a pastry. Despite being the same exact coffee order, the sweetness level was vastly different than the previous visit... doesn't seem like there is much consistency in that regard. Third time: Same online order... got to the store and they were having "technical issues" according to the server at the window. They explained that I could wait and they would have my order in 10-15 minutes. I asked to cancel my order, and was told I would have to do that through the app. Issue is, there is no way to cancel an order thru the app. I had to call customer service later and explain the situation. It was a horrific hassle, but in the end, they canceled the order and even added a few extra bucks back to my account for my trouble. Customer service was good in that regard...I didn't ask for it, they offered. Fourth time: Cup of coffee and egg bites...i placed the order using the app, and immediately headed to the store...I live right around the corner (literally)...egg bites were delicious...piping hot and quite tasty! However the coffee was barely warm!! Since the egg bites were hot, I have no idea how the coffee could be as lukewarm as it was. It was undrinkable. It must have been prepared that way as the time between placing the order and picking it up was no more than 5 or 6 minutes. Bites, hot, coffee, not. If I was headed to the office I would have warmed it in the microwave, but I wasn't, so in the garbage it went. So I still have over 100 bucks in gift cards to use, and I'm hoping this is just a new establishment getting used to the procedures and consistency. Again, for a 5 dollar cup of coffee, it should be close to perfect every time...or at a minimum, HOT! Right across the street is their competitor, a place I frequent often, and their coffee is consistent and half the price. I'll continue to visit Starbucks, at least until the gift cards run out, and I'm really hoping things improve. Believe it or not, I'm pulling for them...

Staff is always friendly, but got my chai latte wrong. Did not order pumpkin but got it anyway :-(… not a fan of pumpkin anything. Also, the food is not worth the price. Tomato Mozzarella pesto sandwich was so sad..not sure if that is a Starbucks standard, or management issue, but don’t waste your money on it. Chocolate croissants, and passion tango tea were amazing though.

Absolutely love the new Starbucks! All of the workers here are doing such a good job so far, they’re working hard and keeping busy! Please be kind to the new business, everyone is still adjusting and learning! Keep up the great work!

If I could give 0 star I definitely would !! The slowest service!! I have ever gotten at the Starbucks. On 07/30 , ordered mobile 3:42 pm arrived at 4 pm in drive through to pick up and waited in the line over 10 mins one car ahead of me still sit and waited for their drink. No sign to move so I decided to go in to pick my drink. At 4:10 pm they said they don’t have my order and asked “ Are u sure u ordered at our location ?!?!” I shown him my mobile order. Then said will make for me soon. At 4:23 pm still no drink so at this point I wanted my money back if they were not gonna make it soon. The guy said “I can’t give you refund since you ordered through mobile “ I said I have been waiting for long time and almost 4:30 since I ordered and you still not making my drink, if u r not gonna refund me pls make my drink soon I have 2 kids waiting in the car ( w/ my husband) “ still waited and didn’t make for me right away. When I received it totally mess up my order no flavor whatsoever, bunch of whip cream bottom and top no cookies blend inside drink , very very light flavor of mocha ( ordered mocha cookie crumble also $7 !) at this point I am Very DISAPPOINTED with the service. I just left with mess up drink because I didn’t want to wait for them to redo my drink. Absolutely wasted my time &money with this garbage drink that they made. I’m absolutely NO WAY going back there again ! You would think expect more from Starbucks but this location has Horrible customer service, killing waiting time. I did mobile ordered for a reason so I can grab and go!!! Terrible customer service and need HUGE training and manager on duty. A brunch of kids are working and don’t know what...

Train wreck just about sums it up.

I’m thinking they really weren’t ready for their opening. Construction took a painfully long time - which is why I suspect they pushed to open even though they clearly weren’t ready.

Lines are long, service is slow…like REALLY slow, and even though it’s new - it’s not kept up like a new store.

Our first visit was interesting since we opted to go inside since the drive through line was very long. However they told us that their POS (I think this meant point if sale, although they never explained what POS meant) wasn’t working so we would have to order and pay on the app and then could pick up our drinks. Really?!?! C’mon SBux - you just opened and you can’t get it right??

We gave them another try and it was once again disastrous. Super long wait with only a few people in line and I used one of the grossest bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a restaurant in my life. And it wasn’t only the bathrooms; the floors aren’t clean (they’re sticky), the windows are gross, the counter was nasty. This is an epically bad location. Worst I’ve ever been to. They also have a limited selection of available menu items, which is baffling since I would think you’d be ready for their opening. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s a disappointment in nearly every way. If I could give a .5 star rating I would - it’s that bad. I don’t think they’ll make it in Rome, NY if they don’t right the ship quickly. Rome has several other coffee shops that...
