I went in to browse for storage options for my shop but saw the Dewalt batteries 2 pack flex volt 6amp. The price on the item was $269. I asked if they price matched and they said yes, but not online prices which I agreed with and that it had to be a walk in store like home depot. Funny thing was it was a Home depot price I found. Then they say it has to be the regular price not a sale price! If they price match? Then they should match the price! They would have made more than the regular price if they matched it because while I waited almost ten minutes for the so called manager I saw many more items in the storage realm I would have purchased as well. I didn't get the "Managers" name as I found out he was in the area as he was scoffing at me asking for the price match (behind my back)to the guy in the area, but I won't forget his 12 year old haircut and management style. Very very disgusted with the treatment and lack of professionalism. I might of been ok with hearing no we won't match it if I didn't hear his unprofessional attitude in full view of the public talking about a customer that just so happened to be me! So disappointed, I drove 45 min just because they have the Mathew's Halon bow in stock. I get there and the girl behind the counter did not have a lot of experience. (Expected) when i asked if i could shoot before i buy she said yes. 1st the draw length was long. I asked if she or someone could reduce for me. She told me no because its a $1200 bow. OK. so then I asked if i could see the allen wrench on the desk so I could raise the weight just a little to feel it at my draw weight. she said NO its a $1200 bow. ok here we go again. I asked for a manager. told her I was going to purchase the bow however I wanted to feel it at my weight can I have the allen wrench to adjust. she said NO its like a $1200 bow and I would have to come back in 3 days when a pro might be there. Finally I asked if I give you my credit card to hold can I do it I am not purchasing unless I feel it under heavier draw weight. SHE SAID NO. I left drove another 45 min to AJ'S Archery. Great place for feed to clothing and specialty food. Currently they are in the process of relocating everything inside the store. It was difficult to find prices as things are being relocated across the whole spectrum. Looking like they want to feature the clothing as you enter the store. That said nothing is where it used to be and even the greenhouse and attached garden center was closed. It does Currently have plants outside in the parking lot and a makeshift greenhouse. Everything in the garden center was 25% off so that was a bonus and they have a great selection left as of now 5/30/21 Apologies greet you at the door as you enter and I would definitely ask for what you are looking for because you may never find it until they finish the redesign. There are overhead signs indicating departments but not everything has been done. Good luck and it is still a great store with an endless inventory of things and still some very good values...
