I have been dealing with Grimmer's since 1969. The level of customer service simply cannot be compared to any of their competitors. The ingrained product knowledge of the owner is a huge benefit to technicians, whether they work in corporate R&D centers, home entertainment fields, or vintage and antique radio and TV restoration. The product selection is vast and dates back to the 1950s in some cases, balanced by the availability of cutting edge parts and equipment.
I noticed a negative review mentioning racism. From the early 70s through the 90s I in was in Grimmer's if not daily at least twice a week or so. Even argumentative customers were treated with respect. The racism allegation is, to me, astonishing. A good number of the customers in the store at the times when I was there were Black, and they were treated just as I was, and shown just as much courtesy and respect.

I spoke with the owner on a single resistor (1000v 1a) not only is he the only local shop that had 1 in stock I also could buy individual or in bulk / pack.
This was need for my 2012 Santa Fe interior lights to work properly.
He has, caps, fuses, soldering equipment, tools, xlr jacks / sockets, 1/4" jacks etc. Even if the item isnt out front of the store he has it in the back.
Yes they are available online but I would just assume buying local.
He has a wealth of knowledge, completely honest I most definitely will be back again and again.
