The guys at United Appliance Parts were terrific and very customer friendly and helpful. I was struggling with a DIY project to repair our 20 year-old wall oven where the bake heating element had failed. I opened up the oven and discovered a broken wire, which I tried to replace. After spending half a day looking all over town, I found United Appliance. They understood my problem, sold me some certified appliance wire, and even crimped two connectors for me. After I re-installed the wiring, the heating element still didn't work. I called United Appliance and they confirmed they had one heating element in stock, which they held for me. They asked me to bring the old element along to confirm it was the right one. Once there, they tested the element and determined that it was corroded, but not burned out. I kept the old element, cleaned it and re-installed it, and it worked fine once I rechecked the wiring connections. If you need appliance parts this is the place to go the guys there are great I've been there about a half a dozen times in the past 5 years and always got the part I need to do the job. Yesterday I was there to fix my dryer the only part I could find that had no continuity I just replaced 2 months ago so Chris checked it and it was good. He gave me a good suggestion but it didn't work so I brought every part that might be the bad one I got there just as they were closing but Chris tested every part found what was bad and I fixed the dryer for $7.00 . Unfortunately you don't usually get that kind of service these days in many places little long for a $7.00 purchase. United is a great place to bring...

This is a great repair shop. They had the parts i needed in stock. My dishwasher is over 20 years old; and he had the part in stock. For 10 dollars less than the on line place i was considering buyimg from. I had originally gone there for a dryer belt( which was also less than the on line place). I had ordered it originally on line. But after 9 days without the part i needed to get the dryer fixed. It was an hour trip for me. The mail order part came late that day.. i had already installed tested and done 2 loads of laundry by then..a good place to buy from. The guy knew his stuff.
