Aaron's Rent To Own — Local services in City of Utica

I personally have never done rent to own and never would. Never sign as a reference to anyone who wants to rent from them. The person I allowed to use me as a reference took off and moved somewhere with the television and I got sued because Aaron's tried to say I consigned. This was absolutely not true, I did not even qualify for a rental myself because at the time I was unemployed. I was one of two or three references that this person gave. Thankfully I was able to prove my case in court and won but found out that television had been previously sold and repossessed three times prior to other people and they had profited already for far more than the television was even worth brand new. This location in Utica is horrible! They recently closed our Herkimer location and we all where forced to have to use the Utica location and the staff here is horrible, i have been a client of Aaron's for many many years and have purchased many products from them , but after having to deal with the staff at this location i will never go to them again and will take my buissnes to someone else and I would suggest that everyone else fo use another company ,there are plenty of other companies in Utica that offer the same products as Aaron's and have the same or better prices so I recommend...

I bought a bed from here, not once was i late on my automatic payment. One week my card got lost so while I was waiting for a new one I called them and told them i would have to pay a few days late. They told me I had to drive to their location (45 min from me) to give them $7 cash instead of giving me a 3 day grace period , they fined me a $25 late fee.
