If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Moving in here was one of the worst mistakes of my life. They are not responsive to emergency work orders and follow up on them maybe 3 days later if you're lucky. The elevator smells and its ok to ride on if you like the Disney World ride tower of terror. Management is never on site - don't let the office fool you. The washing machines provided do not work. I've been dealing with a broken one for a month now. The apartments are not clean when you move in. I found the previous tenant's semi-used jar of vaseline in the bathroom. They sent out building wide emails where they informed the entire building that a specific tenant was late on their rent and how much their rent was. They also have forgotten to insert emails addresses into the emails where it was supposed to indicate who to email. Building / property managers change incredibly frequently so you'll struggle staying up to date on who you're supposed to contact. And when they call you for lease renewal, the person who calls you will ask you if you're renewing and wont even know what your rent is changing to. They "fixed" the call box aka put a newer one in that doesn't work. Overall, just save yourself the trouble and stress and live somewhere else (that's not Stratus or Redburn owned). You'll thank me later.
Just to update this: there’s water damage in my apartment and maintenance continues to say they’re not going to remove the water damaged sheet rock and instead wants to mud over it. Previously when they mudded over the damage, the water damage went through the mud. They won’t even check if there’s mold.
Update: I just wanted to update and say that they are currently withholding returning my security deposit nor are they providing an itemized list of deductions from it ,which is a violation of New...
Read moreThe apartments look great at first ...... but only until you have started to live there do you realize how atrocious they are. Granted, I lived on the .first floor, but I also moved out after only being there for just over two months. You can hear EVERYTHING!!!!!!! I made numerous complaints to building management, including video documentation of the noise disturbances at all hours of the day. Even regular walking around on the floor above me was amplified to the point that working from home became almost impossible. The building manager's (Tim Wells) response ....... "But that's what you get when living in an apartment situation." I can even hear the tenant next door to me snoring. Also, the "all inclusive" package that is offered for utilities etc. is far overpriced. First appearance and price upfront look great, but save yourself some sleep and the hassles of having to deal with the building management, and bypass this nightmare of a building altogether. The image shown is from the bedroom. It's almost like the contractors just built a room for the bedroom, forgot to make "windows" that were up to code , and then cut out slots for Plexiglas panels. Unless you have lights that are on a timer to wake you up on a natural light setting, you will most likely be sleeping...
