I will never be buying groceries from the Clanton location again. I feel like they are seriously ripping off customers. I understand that with the Covid thing they have issues with doing returns, but I think that can be overlooked in special circumstances or situations. My issue is my mother is elderly and is on food stamps for her food. Anyone who has this knows that they donāt get much. I was in the store to pick up prescriptions (which I do love their pharmacy and that staff), so I tried to get a few things for my mom while I was there. The very next day she was sent to the hospital after suffering a major stroke and three grand mal seizures. I tried to freeze everything I could, but I have several large bags of cheese that now get to be wasted, even though they were never opened, bc they refuse to refund that money to my mothers card. I know several other locations that are over 45 minutes to an hour away from me are taking returns, so I donāt understand why this manager canāt make an exception for this! Now, not only do I think this store is ripping off people by having such outrageously high prices along with AWFUL produce, but I also think this manager is heartless and very unconcerned with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE this store!!! It's clean, very organized, and the staff is very helpful and polite. My favorite worker is Carlos in Bakery/Deli and the self checkout staff. They are always so cheerful. The only down side is an older lady that is a cashier, can't remember her name (dark hair, raspy voice) she can be VERY rude to customers. I witnessed her be rude to an elderly gentleman one morning, and I nearly cried as I watched her snatch his debit card out of his hand and told him "no, you HAVE to do it THIS way".. I had hoped he would say something to someone, but he headed for the exit door. Then she proceeded to tell me how bad her morning was already and she had JUST gotten there.... She said "they" keep putting all this on me, I'm just about had it... She then pointed at a "black /brown employee"and said, and she shows up late EVERYDAY but still gets the help when she's here, I show up on time, and get no help. And I was like, Look I'm just here to get my groceries, but I Do hope your day gets better. Please remind your employees of the importance in not sharing personal drama with customers. Other than ALL that!! I Love our...

The ballons that we wanted had to be ordered as Winn-Dixie and Walmart didn't carry them. I called WD to ask if they would help me out if I paid for the helium and blow them up for me. They replied NO, I didn;t purchase them there. I said Oh. Walmart doesn't have a helium pump so after thinking I decided to call WD back. I then ask if I paid for balloons at there store but got my filled instead and paid the price would they help me out. Again, I was told no. I ask to speak to maybe a manager and was told produce handled this and I was talking to the person in charge but wasn't given their name by their choice. I called the next closest store which was Publix in Calera and they were so willing to help my niece celebrate her day. Winn Dixie I know you could care less but you lost this customer for life. I have done business with you for YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope others will see this too. What would it have hurt to blow up :2: ballons. It wasn't 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 ballons cost you a customer and...
