First, I should say that I love shopping restores because they are benefiting such a great cause. That being said, I will never go back to the Claremore restore. We purchased a washer from them on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:00 p.m. and asked if it was okay to return on Friday with our pickup truck to pick up the washer. They said that was fine and that it would have a 14-day guarantee that it would work. So today, Friday we returned to the restore to pick up our washer. The gentleman informed my husband that that washer had been sold to one of their friends and we had gotten lucky as it did not work. The woman who checked us out on Wednesday put a sold sign on said washer before we left on wednesday. Why was something that was sold with a sealed sticker placed on it sold to another person. They did not call to inform us that they had sold our washer which we had already paid for, so we unnecessarily drove 30 miles at today's gas prices in our pickup truck. We will...
