I absolutely love Animal Crackers & have been a loyal customer for years, ever since they 1st opened at their old location. Not once have I ever had an unpleasant or unsatisfactory experience there ever. To the contrary, the owner & staff are very friendly, curtious, helpful, knowledgeable, experienced & totally professional. They carry all of the best & top of the line, top rated dog foods & treats. Including refrigerated brands, grain free, etc. Not the cheap low quality supermarket & big pet shop type of dog foods & treats. If you have a picky dog that you're having trouble finding a food they'll eat they have small sample sized bags you can try out on your fuss pot. They also carry a variety of treats, cookies, snacks, bones, dried bully sticks, antlers, ears, necks & fish. Plus vitamins, supplements, creams, medical supplies, etc. Basically, practically everything. And if they happen to not have something you need or are out of stock they will order it for you & usually have it within a week. I must mention they are a full pet shop, not just a dog food & supplies shop! I'm just an owner of 3 dogs & therefore am focusing on these supplies.

They have a store rewards program to receive money off future purchases. There are also rewards programs offered by some of the dog food manufacturers, which give you for example a free bag of dog food after purchasing 12 bags, such as Orijins. Plus, the prices are very affordable & reasonable. I buy a high end dog food & it's actually cheaper here than anywhere else I've looked including everywhere online. Also, another thing that I love is that they stay current, informed & on top of what is available in the market. Always offering only the best of new products. And when you buy from here you don't have to ever worry that anything you purchase will be harmful or potentially dangerous to your pet. Key example is that they stopped carrying unhealthy rawhides many years ago. Nothing is made overseas such as China or contains ingredients sourced overseas but saying made in America, the new trick by some manufacturers. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I am a real customer, not related or associated to the owner or any of the employees. I normally don't write reviews let alone long ones but after reading the few negative ones which I found to be obsurd and a couple silly, I had to respond. Not such a great experience. I am very upset with Animal Crackers. I have been going to their new location since it has opened. I used to love going here, it was on my way home from work and it was convenient for me to get my dogs treats and food. Just recently things haven't been the same. My dog is very picky and every time i find a treat that she loves, they no longer carry it or have it in stock and it has happened multiple times. Im upset im going to other stores that will be able to keep my dogs favourite treats in stock. I wanted to ask the owner as to why she doesn't have the treats any more and she was very rude to me with out an answer and just walked away from me to answer her cell phone like she didn't care about her customers and never came back to me. This store needs new management its very upsetting to be treated like that; and its upsetting that i have to go out of my way to find the treats for my dog again...

As far as stores of this nature go, I hate to say it but I can't really recommend this one. My experience was that they're definitely uneducated about nutrition and behavior, products are actually all pretty usual (considering it's supposedly a specialty shop) and the way they spoke to me was condescending and disrespectful. Not to mention that their pretentious confidence means customers trust their fallible nutritional advice unconditionally, which is really problematic.

Don't want to talk down on small businesses but if you've been to a wide number of alternative pet supply shops, this one probably won't impress you -- and that has nothing to do with the fact that it is small and humble, but is due to the factors listed earlier...
