Unfortunately my shopping experience felt very discriminatory which ultimately discouraged me from making additional purchases. While shopping a tall African decent gentleman dressed in full jean attire (jacket and jeans) was very vague in his responses when my husband and I attempted to ask questions. We further attempted to ask this gentleman for assistance with accessing the fitting room as there was not an attendant inside to open a fitting room door. The gentleman simply walked over with a very unpleasant attitude and said thereâs someone in there he will help you and walked away. I had additional questions regarding the attire I chose for size exchange but I refrained from asking him due to his dismissive attitude. Shortly after my fitting room experience I noticed the same salesperson was very welcoming and attentive to 2 other shoppers offering assistance, carrying clothing, smiling and interacting answering all their questions. Another attendant named Null provided assistance and I must say he was EXTREMELY PLEASANT, very personable and friendly. When we approached the cashier we stood behind a gentleman in line and the cashier assisted the gentleman in front of us, yet told us in a very scolding tone to please move to the other end of the line which appeared to be the entrance. HOWEVER HE WAITED ON THE GENTLEMAN IN FRONT OF US ALSO STANDING AT THE INCORRECT END OF THE LINE. Once finally waited on I looked over and that same cashier continued waiting on customers appearing to line up at the incorrect end of the line and he never redirected them (the cashier was a young man, short with curly long shoulder length hair) The items I was attempting to purchase I actually needed a smaller size but I chose to leave the suit and purchase the 1 item because I did not want for any further assistance with a smaller size. It felt very much like this store was not welcoming to African American shoppers even rejected by the African American sales persons. VERY SAD, WILL...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Polo Ralph Lauren store, for a return and to purchase new items and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me with my shopping needs.
The store itself was beautifully laid out, with a wide variety of clothing options for both men and women. The displays were clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for.
But what really stood out to me was the quality of the clothing. Every piece I tried on was impeccably made, with attention to detail and a focus on comfort and style. From the soft cotton of the t-shirts to the luxurious feel of the cashmere sweaters, every garment was crafted with care and precision.
In addition to the clothing, the store also offered a selection of accessories, including belts, shoes, and bags. The accessories were just as impressive as the clothing, with a range of options to fit any style or occasion.
Overall, my experience at the Polo Ralph Lauren store was exceptional. The staff, the store layout, and the quality of the clothing were all top-notch. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for high-quality, stylish clothing and accessories. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for a gift for someone else, you're sure to find something you love at Polo...
Read moreI have been going/spending my money at this particular Polo Ralph Lauren store since the Clarksburg outlet opened some years back. I have always experienced outstanding customer service. I went to this location again on 10/08/22 and was totally disappointed as to how my fiancÊ and I were treated. No one wanted to help us, no one spoke to us. But the unfortunate part is, this treatment was only directed towards us. At the time there were Asian, and white people in the store. Of course, they were being assisted, they were greeted with smiles, and was provided with customer service. I asked to talk to the manager because I wanted to know what was the difference between myself an these other customers as to why they were being assisted but we were not. This current staff at PRL needs training and should all of their customers with the same treatment. I spend my money there just like the next person. I will be escalating this issue because it is very unfair to be treated as if you are second class. There is clearly some racial issues going on with this newer staff. On a positive note, the cashier was excellent. I have seen him there in the past and he always provided outstanding customer service. He asked if anyone helped us today I told him unfortunately not, and that he was the first person to even...
