New Roxy — Local services in Clarksdale

One of the coolest music venues in America - a real shame it's only open a few times per year. The service is always friendly and efficient. But the real draw is the incredible open-air venue - an old movie theater, the shell of which (barely) survived three decades of neglect (except for the central roof)! The improvements made by the new owner to the lobby and balconies are significant and very cool. There's a small, enclosed indoor stage and bar in addition to the large "outdoor" stage. Such a fun time & cool place. Love that there's no ceiling- amazing to look up at the stars & feel the breeze on a hot Mississippi night. Locals were incredibly friendly & fun and the blues band we saw was fantastic! Definitely recommend this place for anyone...
