Only go here if you have nothing else planned for the day. The first time I went, I wanted dip. The technicians kept trying to sway me towards gel X which I did not want because of the price. The woman who did my nails, Crystal, took an hour and 50 minutes just to do my hands. People had showed up after me and left before just my fingernails were done. By the time I could do my pedicure, she had another appointment so had to pass me on to another technician. I think she might’ve been the owner, because the whole time she was doing my pedicure she was also answering the phone and making appointments without changing gloves or washing her hands between touching her phone, ipad, and my feet. I also asked for a shape that, according to the website, was not an upcharge. However, while in the chair my tech said something along the lines of “I think this shape will look good on your nails” and proceeded to do a shape I did not ask for and costs more. Not even 3 days later I had 5/10 of my dip nails come off. I now understood why they were trying to convince me not to do dip, but I wish they would have been honest and said that they simply aren’t good at it. They said they can redo my nails with Gel X I’d just have to pay the difference. I said no again because of the price so I chose acrylic. Crystal once again took nearly 2 hours to do my nails. The woman next to me had to ask her tech to hurry up because she had somewhere to be and hers was also taking nearly 2 hours for just a solid color. I worked at a nail salon a few years ago and the standard time for dip is around 45 minutes and about an hour for acrylic. The lines on my nails were streaky and uneven. I can practically see through the tips despite choosing a medium blue. They lasted longer than the dip but still not as long as they should. However it was outside the 7 day free repair period and I do not trust this salon so I coughed it up as a loss. The staff was extremely nice however some of the conversations they have in front of customers are not appropriate. I often get my nails done with my grandma however I would not feel comfortable bringing her here solely due to the conversations I overheard...
Read moreI had such an amazing experience. I go with my 5 year old daughter and if we don’t go at the same time, it’s a nightmare and impossible to relax because she’s asking “Are you done yet?” Over and over. The previous night we dropped in another place that was packed and I asked “How long?” and they just said, “Sit down”. We immediately walked out because I knew it could be forever and not relaxing at all because we wouldn’t get our pedicure at the same time when they couldn’t tell me how long the wait was.
I called Wond. this morning to make an appointment and when she told me she needed to check the schedule, I knew we would be in good hands because she wasn’t trying to over book like most places do. It was well worth waiting till the next day. It was the most relaxing pedicure ever. I could have fallen asleep and taken a nap afterwards because it was so relaxing!!! As a single mom and teacher who never gets a second to relax, I think I’ll be going back regularly and bringing family. It’s not filled with tons of people and overwhelming like some places. It’s very nice looking inside compared to some places I’ve seen down here.
I can’t wait to go back for my...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointed.. was recommended by a coworker who always has the most adorable, well done nails so of course I had to go. They aren’t doing acrylic nails right now so my only option was the go with the gel X, I didn’t really mind it although a heads up about not being able to get them filled would have been nice especially for the price.. I do not ever mind paying a bit extra to have my have my nails look extremely well done, especially the work was put into it. I don’t want to say there wasn’t any work put into my nails but it really seemed like the products you thought you were using on my nails weren’t actually the products you thought it was. The white streaks that covered every single black nail from the alcohol you thought was acetone and I don’t even know what kind of top coat you guys use because it turned my very black nails BRIGHT blue. Not only that but after only 3 days the gel nail polish started peeling off in one whole piece.. which has never ever happened to me in my life of getting gel nails? And I spent $90?! Which is the most I’ve ever spent on such average nails! I really didn’t want to leave a review but I’m honestly...
