Woodland Cemetery — Local services in Clemson

This historic cemetery is located on a hill overlooking the football stadium. The stadium is located in the valley to the north of the cemetery and has been given the nickname of Death Valley. The cemetery contains remains of enslaved people, sharecroppers, wage workers, and convicted laborers that built many of the university's buildings.
