The last three times there, workers behind the counter have been literally ignoring me, despite making eye contact; serving customers who show up after me. Twice I had to say something. Just yesterday, I ordered four filet mignons. Three times I asked if she's giving me mignons - three times she said yes. I get in the very long checkout line, a women and her husband have a cart half full of meat. She says she's thinking about getting filet mignons and asked to see the cheaper cut vs the more expensive one. The same woman who served me showed the other customer the cuts, so she knew what a filet mignon is. Today, getting dinner ready, I opened the wrapper only to discover I was given chuck roast. This could have been a New Year's Eve dinner disaster had I waited longer to prepare. I have to get in my car and speed to make it before they closed. I say something and everyone looks at me like I'm guilty of something macabre. The woman had long dark hair and a tan ski cap. I went there yesterday (Dec. 3, 2022) to get some lamb. I don't know why it's so hard to get lamb in Ohio (I live in Westlake and went to a meat place in Avon--they only had ground lamb), but K&K had it. I asked for leg of lamb and was told that it had the bone in it. The butcher came out front to ask me how I wanted the lamb, when was I going to use it, etc.--his questions were very pertinent.
