New place was clean... food was really good and fresh best cheesesteak I've had in Cleveland! Must try the made by hand tater tots....amazing! Lots of options to keep you coming back to try everything!! Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Hope they keep it this way. Edit: on second visit 2 weeks later was sub par at best very disappointed since I brought someone new with me to try it and it was horrible. ( owners were there first time but not second) gave all 5 star and now have to downvote. So decided to try again on cheesesteak day and man was I disappointed.....first since it was cheesesteak day they had a promotion for $5 small cheesesteak....I ordered and it rings up at 15(ordered loaded tots also) I say something and oh yeah that's right he says and puts code in and changes price to $6. Then go to eat and the steak was like a paste like they put it through a blender was horrible and plain then I bit into the tots well they are not loaded just cheese....everything was below average. First of all, I’ve been here before, and the food and service has been great but tonight at the location on Warren Road. The service was terrible. I waited a long time for my food and a man came in after me and ordered three sandwiches and two large fries, and I only ordered two sandwiches, and one fry And he got his food before me and their excuse was because I ordered the chicken could not believe how long I had to wait. Tonight’s crew was terrible. The staff was terrible. The man was very rude, telling me to grow up. What kind of staff do you have there , I’ll never go back again and I will tell all my friends not to go back again better off going to Charlie’s subs so disappointing so disrespectful and your food was pretty good but I’m never wait again like that. I've passed by this place plenty of times, wanting to go in and check it out since I love cheesesteaks. Ended up ordering thru doordash, and I will never give this place my business again. Maybe don't have a place of business if you can't receive negative feedback in a professional manner. I know cheesesteaks. I've had plenty in Philly. Steak was too salty, and based on other reviews on Doordash, I'm not the only one who thought so. I've had cheesesteaks with whiz before and it was not overloaded and a huge mess like the one I received. My husband also thought the sub wasn't that good. Responding to a review with an attitude is bad for business. Glad I never actually went in person. Whoever responded to my review said, "horrible review."
