I have eaten here just a couple of times. I find it to be staffed with extremely friendly folks. They are very accommodating and enjoy interacting with their guests.
The location is a bit inconvenient to find parking. They are only open Thurs - Saturday so you have to ensure the day you are going is a day they are open.
I found their gravy to be extremely salty. I couldn't eat the entire thing due to the salt. The price would be $$$ for breakfast. We ordered 2 biscuits, 1 cinnamon roll and 2 orange juices. Our total with tip was $48. No typo there..yes, almost $50. I was shocked. The orange juice was extremely watered down and tasted more like water than OJ.
They have very limited seating; it took us over 35 minutes to receive our food. It was on a Saturday morning around 11 am.
Again, the staff is amazing and if not for the cost and the salt we...
Read morePROS: The food CONS: This establishment has closed its Colony Square location but hasn't updated their FB page to reflect this. Moreover, when we ordered food from them, that fact wasn't mentioned, thereby sending us on a wild-goose chase to pick up our food. The FB page gave different hours of operation for the truck versus the Colony Square location. When we ordered our food, no one answered the phone, even after several attempts. We finally sent a text message, having been unable to leave a voicemail. The person who took our order didn't inform us about the closure, and we wasted a trip across town to a closed place. RECOMMEND?: If you choose to eat here, show up in person. Don't waste your time trying to call ahead. The food is very good, but they need a better system for taking orders, and they need to update...
Read moreIn town from San Diego and stumbled across Biskit NV and so glad I did! It is decorated so cute inside and is very clean. The food is amazing!!! I had the bacon, egg and cheddar biscuit with hash browns. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a better breakfast biscuit. The biscuit was the perfect texture; not too crumbly, not too sticky and the bacon was cooked perfectly, which can make all the difference. Not sure what they put in the hash browns either, but these were not your run of the mill hash browns. The flavor was delicious! I really enjoyed this place and love that it appeared to be family owned. The family running it were very friendly and you can tell they put a lot of care into the restaurant and the food! Love to see that and to support a small...
