My 14 year-old cousin had homecoming this past Friday, October 8th and of course kids wait till the last minute. I took him to Burlington first but it was bare. I Googled Martin's Men's Wear and arrived at 5:20 and surprisingly the doors were still open, even though they closed at 5:30. We were greeted by Joe and he quickly and I do mean expeditiously found us what we needed. I joked with him how it must be a combination of him being great at his talent and wanting to get out of there on a Friday evening lol while my cousin tried on the apparel. I myself was taken away from the selection they had for men and young men, especially after a visit to Milano's. Joe rang us out and we were headed out the door at 5:29. Perfect service, perfect conditions. I'll definitely be back as a customer and will always refer them first. As a plus, I received a Glenville Alumni discount. Also as Joe was unlocking the doors to allow us to exit, there was a gentleman there waiting and we both laughed as he explained the man would have to come back tomorrow..Needless to say the door open and I left Joe to himself because that was not my battle lol. I heard the man adamantly saying he just needed a belt and Joe respond to him that he was sorry. (I was in Joe's side, at least I arrived during business hours). I was in desperate need of someone to hem my mother of the bride dress and my daughter's bridesmaid dress after I was not getting a good feeling from the person I was going to go to. I talked to the Owner, Frank and although they do not hem dresses he was able to give me the name of a local cleaners that does. He told me to let them know he told me to call and that if they could not do it to call him back and he will see who else he can find for me. Always a great experience when I come in here. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. My son gets his school uniforms from here and I thought it would be awkward coming into a men's store as a female, was I wrong! I've never felt out of place and I'm always greeted with a smile.
