Larry and Mary Pearce have been great friends of the Poor Clares since arriving back in Cleveland, from Boulder, Colorado in 1986. Sister Therese took us under her wing as at the time we had no job. She and St. Clare fixed that in a hurry. In the last thirty years we have been through some very troubling times. The Sisters and Sister Therese were always there for us during all the illnesses. We made a thank you Mass during Christmas about ten years ago. These nuns are awe inspiring. I love them. We have a new health crisis to deal with this Christmas. Sister always tells me to put it in God's hand and to believe with all my heart that all will work out. She is the reason I have not lost my faith.
