Peach Tree Center — Local services in Clifton

Needs some improvements in the area of better stores and quality. Bus stop is further away and isn't easily accessible to the handicapped in wheelchairs or person's with a hidden handicap, as there are no benches to rest on nd only a fraction of sidewalk is available. Plenty of muddy paths to reach stores from the bus stop. Customer parking and handicapped parking are great. Plenty of open space to extend shopping mall as well as empty store fronts. Does have a quick response from a Sheriff sub station located here. Use to be a nice DMV located here when open, made it convenient to get your license plates and tags without driving to greater Grand Junction Area. Peachtree shopping mall could use some good clothing stores or even a better selection of fast food establishments. Certainly could use a buffet style restaurant that offers a wide selection of menu items. Perhaps a drive thru Credit Union. There are two banks here but no credit unions. At one time they did, but they refused to move to a location that had a outer wall for a drive...

The reason I give two stars is only because of the grumpy old men who work in the back in the plumbing area who gang up on other old men and laugh about it after they walk out down the aisle which I found very disrespectful to their customers I was in with my dad and he walked in for a plumbing part and I was in the aisle next door and as soon as he walked away frustrated I heard them giggling and laughing like little old ladies it was very disappearing to me. The only reason I shop there every so often is because of their a ray of plumbing supplies other than that they are unneeded and unnecessary a breeding ground for Dirty Old Men the other help around the counters and the ladies are very nice some of the other supplies that they have make it very homey I would have give them less but they do have a good quality of...

My family has visited the stores and restaurants at Peachtree Center since it was built. Downside was Clifton didn't establish good traffic flow patterns within the complex. Didn't plan for future growth. Accidents are almost daily. Parking horrible. Ten years ago my father parked for lunch at one of the restaurants. He missed by mere feet being killed by a 15 year old out of control truck driver. Yes, 15 years old with no license. The truck flew off highway, went airborne smashing out wall of restaurant.
