Absolutely the Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had with Any Driving School – Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful

I normally don’t take the time to write reviews, especially long ones, but my experience with this driving school was so overwhelmingly negative that I feel obligated to warn others before they make the same mistake I did.

To start, I initially signed up for this school with high hopes, expecting professionalism, patience, and quality instruction. Unfortunately, what I got was the complete opposite. From the very beginning, communication was spotty and unreliable. They were late to return my calls, and when they did, the tone was rushed and borderline rude, as if I was inconveniencing them by simply asking questions about the lessons I was paying for.

Things only went downhill from there.

The worst part of the entire experience was a phone call I had with a staff member. I had a simple question about scheduling and availability—nothing complicated, just trying to confirm my appointment and ask if I could reschedule due to a conflict. Instead of receiving a polite answer or even a neutral “no,” I was met with yelling, condescending comments, and actual cursing over the phone. Yes, you read that right—a grown adult, who is supposed to be working in a customer service role for a driving school, screamed at me and used profanity because I asked about rescheduling. It was completely uncalled for, unprofessional, and honestly shocking.

No one deserves to be treated that way—especially not a paying customer who is simply trying to learn to drive.

The instructor(s) I dealt with in person were no better. There was no patience, no guidance, no sense of structure or actual instruction. It felt like I was being tolerated rather than taught. The attitude was dismissive, as if they couldn’t be bothered to actually teach or support nervous new drivers. If you’re someone who is already anxious or unsure about driving, I would strongly recommend staying away from this place unless you want to feel even worse about yourself.

To make matters worse, they offered zero accountability for their behavior. When I calmly tried to express how uncomfortable and disrespected I felt, I was either ignored or met with more rudeness. No apology. No explanation. Just more unprofessionalism.

I’ve never had an experience where I paid for a service and walked away feeling completely disrespected, belittled, and mistreated. The lack of basic courtesy, patience, and respect here is staggering.

To anyone reading this review and considering this school for driving lessons—please look elsewhere. There are many schools out there with kind, supportive, and respectful instructors who genuinely care about helping students succeed and feel confident behind the wheel. This is not one of them. I would give zero stars if I could.

II AM OFFICIALLY STREET LEGAL thanks to Primary Driving School!!! I called this school 5 days before my road test and the owner, Fernando was so helpful in fitting me in for a lesson and the road test date. For such a short notice, he made sure it worked with my availability and my preference. Also, the prices are so exceptional for the quality of service they give. I only booked one lesson and then the next, was the road test. The instructor assigned to me was Victor, and he was such a great guy. He was so patient, clear and taught me the little tricks in parking that got me to do it perfectly after 2 tries. I'm usually an anxious driver, but he made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. On the day of my road test, I decided to add a 50-min lesson prior to going to the test. This time, Fernando himself actually instructed me. This just shows how much this driving school cares about their students because Fernando could've simply told me that all his instructors were all booked, but instead, he made the time to personally teach me and take me to my road test. Fernando gave me the best tricks and tips to remember when it comes to the Wayne road test site. He is very knowledgeable, clear and concise and he made sure you understood. He gave me scenarios of when I make a mistake, and how I can adjust myself to fix it. He makes you think out of the box! When it came to the road test, every tips both victor and fernando gave, helped me out so much and aced parking, k turn, reversing and turns. Imagine, I only started driving and because of them, they got me to pass in under 5 minutes. I recommend this school to everyone!!! 10/10 quality service. Thank you so much Victor...

This has been the best driving school I've had the pleasure of taking. I've been struggling to get my license for about 5 years now, because of on and off medical issues. I have taken class after class, and it's been difficult for me to learn with so much time in-between these lesson. When I started taking primary driving school with Fernando, he automatically buckled me up for the real world of driving and was persistent on me learning and getting my license. I felt like he cared about it as much as I did and that made me feel very secure and confident. Fernando did not sugar coat anything, he was a tough disciplined teacher, he knew how to praise and how to scold. He would tell me the specifics of what I'm supposed to do, he would prepare me for every given situation in the test and if my confidence wavered he would hype me up. I finally got my license, after such an emotional experience of struggling for 5 years, primary driving school has helped me live up to my potential and fulfill one of my dreams. I was sobbing uncontrollably when I finally passed my test, and I couldn't do it alone. If you are looking to pass your test, with all the skills and preparations available, with teachers who care about your license just as much as you do, then go to primary driving school.
