Wize Guys Brick Oven Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Clifton

Regular pizza, nothing special. I go there for 24 inch pies, wont anymore. Not good from Start to finish. Called in for pick up, the girl that picked up started with attitude. I ask what topings they offer that's non vegetable, employee said, what you mean, i said you like like sausage and what else, she said anything you want, since she didnt give me options i had to hang up and went on there site to check the menu, which had only 4 options, not hard for the employee to list. When i called back i was on hold for about 5 min, which can be understandable. I gave the order and was told 15 min. So i went there in 20. I was hoping my pies were in the oven but they had not even started and the guy was making a pie for slices which no one was waiting for. I found that out while waiting half hour in the store for my pies. The guy finally put my pizzas in the oven, they don't pop the baloons that are formed while cooking, i guess some like it but pizzas are not suppose have bubbles, they are the highest point and start burning. Anyways after 50 minutes in total for 2 pies, i go to pay i give my credit card and the tablet gets turned to me saying these are your tipping options if you want to tip, which is another no no for pick up orders. I don't mind given the option to tip in my tab but i shouldn't get a screen turned to me saying these are your tipping options which starts at 15 percent. My bill for 2 extra large pies was $49. i didn't tip and the girls face changed probably called me a cheap ass to her self. I usually pick up my order for it to be faster and whole process took about hour to get 2 pies. I read another review saying 1.5 hours for his pizza and i believe it. For the average food you get, the crappy service and price you pay there are better...

Never again. A few weeks ago, I ordered the chicken franchise. It was amazing, and I love their zeppoles. They had forgotten to deliver my Snapple, but I didn’t care because the pasta was great and I got a refund on the drink from Uber Eats.

Today, I decided to try their chicken Parmesan with penne pasta. It was the worst meal I’ve ever eaten! There was something bitter/sour about the marinara sauce they used. The noodles tasted strange as well, but I couldn’t tell if it was from the sauce. The chicken was chewy. The cheese was literally a ball of cheese, I couldn’t cut through it. I threw the entire plate away. I tried the garlic knots, and they also tasted strange. I threw them away. I tried a slice of the personal pizza we ordered, it was okay. I wouldn’t go out of my way for their pizza, but I was hungry so I ate it. They also forgot my zeppoles, which was refunded by the Slice app I’d ordered from.

It is now 10 minutes after eating this food, and I feel sick. Something was off about...

We stopped by for lunch after a LONG day at the zoo to dine in. We usually order delivery from Wize Guys and the results are always good, but the service in this place was over the top. It was a pretty busy hour and it took a bit longer for us to receive our order (which was delicious by the way), so the owner doubled the fries, gave us 2 drinks and 2 scoops of ice cream on the house! To top it off i asked for 2 to-go containers so i could pack my left overs and he came over the table and did it himself. The girls at the register and the tables are so nice to deal with. I always order from Wize guys but from now on ill be dining in. Absolutely amazing people and FOOD!

edit:: every time I come here I think they can't get better than this, but they do! the best customer service I've ever encountered with amazing food. my 4 year old even asked to watch the main cook make the pizza and he kindly demonstrated. i wish them better...
