Quicks Food Store — Restaurant in Paterson

My family used to love this Quicks! We ordered late night snacks here all the time. Today while taking my kiddos out on a nice wagon ride, my autistic kiddo finished his juice and immediately wanted the little juice box gone. As we walked, we saw the dumpster outside - beside the sidewalk- and we tossed it inside. We didn't want to throw it on the floor obviously and lucky us! A dumpster. Cue a man yelling and saying "I pay for this dumpster. Don't throw things in there." Is this not what dumpsters are floor? Would you prefer people throwing trash on the ground instead? I understand people illegal dumping in your dumpster, large items or their own trash bags, but a kiddos tiny juice box? Yelling with two tiny tots in a wagon staring at you? Immediate turn off of this place. My husband innocently thought he mwant it was just for cardboard and apologized. The man said no, it wasn't for cardboard, its for trash but dont use it because I pay for it.... alrighty! Screaming over a juice box going into a dumpster where trash belongs while two kiddos, one of which has severe autism stare at you traumatized... We will happily never be ordering here again....

This is the go to spot if your in NJ…actually I travelled here when I lived in PA. You can’t beat the chicken cheesesteak!!!! So much flavor!!! Quicks is in the border of Clifton and Paterson, a clean spot where all the staff is friendly. They hold up to there name they are quick, I first found this spot in college and have been coming here ever since from living in nutley, poconos, Bloomfield and now jersey city. Coming here always gives me great memories of cheap eats, and friendly faces.

If your in the area don’t make the mistake and get McDonalds a block away grab a sub, platter, salad here you won’t regret it. Visit Quicks and it won’t be your last, after the first bite of a chicken cheesesteak you will thank me for reading my review..your welcome...

They sell on Uber eats as Hungry for Halal. I went there to pick up my order and there was no signage or any indication that Hungry for Halal was Quicks Food Store. Once I figured it out I went inside and retrieved my order. It was quick and ready, hot and fresh. The order felt like I had to orders from the weight of it. When I got home and opened it it was packed. I ordered the mixed platter. It was very good and very tasty and had a freshness to it. The white sauce was amazing. The meat was so tender and juicy, both the chicken and the lamb. I was very, very satisfied with my order. It was fresh and tasty and very very very delicious. I will be ordering...
