As a Muslim girl who covers I was soooooo so excited to finally have a ladies only gym I could be comfortable in. I cancelled my other gym membership to start coming here so that I can be in a more comfortable environment and wear regular gym clothes. However, nearly every single time I’ve come here either the plumber has come in or some sort of maintenance man. Today was the final straw when I was already wearing my regular gym clothes and a man came inside while I was uncovered. No one gave me any kind of warning at all. I suggested they put up some kind of curtain for men to not be able to see once they walk in or for there to be a sign letting them know this facility is for women only but the gym staff told me that would not work and so I just canceled my membership. I was really hoping they would be able to fix this issue so that I wouldn’t have to cancel by membership by putting up a sign or curtain as I suggested but they didn’t really seem to care or put any effort into fixing this issue, as I don’t think they understand the severity of it. If you are coming to this gym because you are muslim, jewish, or any kind of religious/modest girl who covers and would like a comfortable place to work out, I would absolutely NOT recommend coming here unless you want to have men coming in and seeing you uncovered!! This gym is not 100% privacy for modest women and I advise you to not waste your time if that’s what you are...
