If you’re anywhere near Clifton and craving authentic Thai flavors, Lamoon’s Thai Restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable meal.

The shrimp Pad Thai here is nothing short of spectacular — perfectly cooked noodles tossed in a tangy-sweet tamarind sauce, with plump, juicy shrimp that taste like they were caught just this morning. Every bite is balanced, fresh, and deeply satisfying.

And then there’s the Tom Yum soup — a fragrant, soul-warming bowl of lemongrass, chili, and lime that delivers just the right kick. The broth is rich and aromatic, with layers of flavor that make you pause between spoonfuls just to savor the aroma.

Pair that with attentive service and a menu full of tempting options, and you’ve got a spot that’s perfect for both casual dinners and special nights out. Lamoon’s doesn’t just serve food — it serves an experience you’ll want to come back for...

I am regular customer of this restaurant and food was good before but yesterday I did take out of veg drunken noodles, thai curry and basil rice with tofu but drunken noodles smells like fish and I am pure vegetarian so I got severe allergy after that which was so disappointing. Additionally, when I spoke to manager on phone about this, she was so rude and talked very badly and did not helped me with anything. I had Bad experience.

I have been to this restaurant all the time and whenever I said tofu they never put eggs. I always eat drunken noodles from this restaurant but yesterday there was strong fish smell from noodles which caused allergy and the restaurant never took it seriously which totally depicts they fail to care about customers. If restaurant ask to contact about other problems, it is not worth as the manager does not know how to talk with customer. (She was so rude and shouting). Totally...

I ordered Takeout and picked up in the store. Pad Thai, Spring rolls and Thai Iced tea. The food tasted great, the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and not overly sweet. Spring Rolls were nice and crispy on the outside and the sauce was very well balanced. The Pad Thai I was very impressed, but It was not spicy. Now I had asked the counter lady to make it spicy, and spicy is very vague so they may have been playing it safe and let it go very mild, but to me it was very mild to almost no heat. Ill have to try them again. 4 out of 5 because of the Heat level issue, (I specifically asked for it EXTRA SPICY)

I want to update my review, ordering many many times over the past two years and I feel they have been able to get their spicy levels consistent. My preference in spice here is medium, or spice on the side.

I enjoy the food here very much and honestly it’s the best Thai...

Visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and we were not too impressed with the food. First off, if you are vegetarian, there is not a single noodles dish you are able to eat. All of the dishes either contain oyster or fish sauce and they are not able to be removed. We went ahead and ordered a tofu stir fry, drunken noodles and a Thai iced tea.The tofu stir fry was 90% vegetables and just a few pieces of tofu and the drunken noodles were not too good either. We were missing mushrooms in our stir fry and had let the waiter know but there was no action taken. On top of that, the AC was not working so it was hot and humid in the restaurant but the waitress did apologize for that when we wrapped up our meal. Overall, the food lacked flavor and that authentic feeling but giving three stars because the waitress did seem appreciative of us dining with them.

Everything about this experience was wonderfully positive! I had a delicious freshly made roti with yellow curry and tofu appetizer! The portion is just right for two to taste or a small single meal. It was one of the greatest things I’ve had in a while at a restaurant. And it’s vegan! Plenty of options for my vegan friends since they use coconut milk and omitting or substituting the protein doesn’t take away the flavor. The atmosphere is calm and very well designed with good seating options. The server was so pleasant and polite she made me feel like a special guest! I went in at noon and the wait was no more than a few minutes! There’s plenty of street parking, too. I can’t wait to come back for the bigger entrees!
