Kashan A True Taste of India
I recently had the pleasure of dining at kashan, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and warm, with elegant decor that immediately transported me to the heart of India.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, each crafted with incredible attention to detail. I started with the samosas, which were perfectly crisp on the outside and bursting with flavorful filling. For the main course, the butter chicken was divine – rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice, while the lamb rogan josh was tender and full of aromatic flavors.
The naan bread was soft and pillowy, the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful curries. I also couldn’t resist trying their dal makhani, which was incredibly rich and comforting, with the perfect balance of spices.
The service was exceptional – attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff made wonderful recommendations based on our preferences, and the meal was paced beautifully, allowing us to fully enjoy each course.
Overall, kashan offers a perfect blend of authentic Indian flavors and modern elegance. Whether you’re a fan of classic Indian dishes or looking for something new, this place will surely satisfy all your cravings. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the best of Indian cuisine. I’ll...
Read moreEdit: Our second and last visit here did not hold the same experience as our first one:( We came 4 days ago and waiter didn’t recognize us. We had to repeat our order twice because waiter was distracted, looking at other customers come in. We understand it was a bit more busy, and he was polite with us, but we were also not checked in on.
While ordering, we requested that our dishes be cooked with less oil. However, this was not accommodated for and was not communicated that it was not going to be. When asked, we were told that it was requested with the kitchen but some Indian food just shows more oil naturally… however, we are both Indian and eat this kind of food regularly…this is not the case.
All in all, the waiter was polite and food tasted great. However, we will likely not be returning.
——— (Past review) Amazing Indian food spot, one of the best I’ve been to considering ambience, service, and flavor! We were greeted warmly and welcomed into the establishment, with all our needs being taken care of.
They had a promo when we visited- the couples menu. This was great, as we got 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 bread, and 1 dessert, for $50 total. Delicious food too, my only critique is that the oil content was higher than I’m used to. All in all, great location and spot to get some tasty...
Read moreMyself, my wife & my little 8 month old daughter had decided that we dine out instead of cooking. Foram, my wife & I wanted to explore and try out Kashan since it was super close to our house(5 min away). Once we parked our car on the street, we had to take out the stroller & entered the restaurant to the side. It was a little sketchy & sus. Noticed that there is no ramp to bring the stroller down & had to lift it down. Once we were seated by a tall young man, he arrived & asked for drinks and appetizers within 2 minutes(we did not see the menu yet). It felt irritating & rushed. Both of us decided that we order the mushroom tandoori, gobi manchurian, & lotus root chili. All of it arrived quickly with okay taste BUT it was cold. It upset us. The young man came to our table again & rushed us for our dinner order & I asked "When do you close your kitchen?" and he said 9:30pm then I told him that let us finish our dinner and we will order the dinner before 9:00pm. His attitude upset me further. For dinner, we had baingan barta, chili garlic naan, & daal tadka & each entrée came with rice(which was not explained to us & we ordered rice separately). All of the dinner items tasted fine & we left upset based on our experience. Never returning...
