I moved here almost 16 years ago on the basis of one online review calling Styertowne Apartments one of the “best kept secrets in Northern New Jersey”. It has only gotten better and better and I still agree with that 2009 review. If I were you I’d head to their Clifton leasing office ready with cash/credit on hand to make a deal because the BEST apartments don’t stay available for more than a week or two. This is a terrific community and environment to live in. The area is calm, relaxing and very safe. Everything is within walking distance: Quick bus to NYC, pharmacies, supermarkets, laundry, restaurants, and shopping. The leasing office is great! We had just moved in over the summer and so far have had nothing but great experiences here! The property is well maintained, Cynthia and Alan in the office are always very welcoming and helpful, and the maintenance staff are extremely efficient and respectful.
