Zero stars! This place is still a dump! I stopped coming here months ago because the staff especially in the evening are miserable, lazy, discrimate, confrontational, useless and disgusting. I send a huge email to CVS corporate about my experience here and they have done nothing. The actual nightime store manager is the leader of it all. I went back in the evening to have some photos processed through the one hour photo. I figured well atleast I wont have to deal with the misery. I uploaded my pictures to print they were 4x6's. I went to register to pay and I hit the lottery the nighttime manager came in and took over the register and relieved previous cashier. I was pleasant and polite she never responded but she huffed and puffed "put your card in" and i finished paying. I asked her "will the pictures be ready in about an hour?" She throws up her hands and says "i dont know there could be online orders and a whole bunch of stuff." I left and went back 1.5 hours later and said "hi are my pictures ready?" The manager said "no nothing is working, nothings coming out, i dont know whats going on with it" as she sat on a box behind the register eating a bag of chips 1.5 hours after she had started working. I said "ok then i am going to need a refund" and she huffed and puffed and asked "you paid for it?" I said yes and i handed her the cvs photo receipt that they used to ring me up, not the register receipt. She said "oh i cant take that i need your receipt." Again very lazy, negative, miserable, no empathy and no assurance of help. Any of the daytime cashiers would have found a way to pull the info with my credit card and the receipt i provided. The night time manager is supposed to be able to carry this store over night? Give direction to the employees and address customer questions and concerns. All of their photo machines have these tacky photo copied signs scotch taped on them with notices, out of order, click this or do that. Everythjng is broken there is no help. I dont even know how this place stays in business. This is a clearly a mismanaged store on every level and the corporate giant CVS is to blame. I hope their GREED...

Upon entering the store I witnessed a young woman asking for help when she was met by an angry disgruntled CVs employee who I overheard mention she was a manager (named Shannon). As I listened in, the customer found a mistake with pricing and the employee wouldn’t honor the mistake or adjust the price to reflect the correct sale pricing, I heard the customer then say “I’m going to take a pic of the prices so I can contact corporate” and Karen became livid, & started behaving like an animal by disrespectfully yelling at the customer to leave the store or she would call the cops. As the employee stated no pictures can be taken in the store. Now I’m not the smartest person in Nj, but I use my cvs app to screen shot barcodes in store so I can check prices, so how is recording not allowed. Furthermore, CVS is a public store. I was in shock. My 4 year old child was crying and my 8 yr old daughter was scared. I am a white mother of mixed race children. I had to explain to my child what was happening, and explain the complications that African Americans are STILL experiencing in America. This was clearly a race issue as the employee was bothered that the customer was black and questioning her. I’m utterly disgusted. I willl neeeeverrrr everrrr shop here again, nor will my family. My husband, child and I arrived to take passport photos. UPON arriving I greated another customer in the Islamic greeting in Arabic and proceeded to the photo area. (Note: I was wearing a hijab and traditional west African dress). The white Male cashier was serving another customer in the photo area. After which point he ignored us and walked away to work the cash register. We waited for a few moments and then my husband asked another cashier about doing passport photos. The cashier- aNOTHER white male- looked at us in a nasty way and gave a nasty response. I told my husband "let's go". Many may say it's not racism but I'm a black person, I know a microaggression and racist treatment when I receive it. They first blatantly ignored us and were nasty to us. SHAME ON THESE STAFF PEOPLE. If I could give "-20" stars I would.
UPDATE spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and offered a discount on the passport photos. At least...
