Dahlia & Sage Community Market — Local services in Cloverdale

Markets itself as a healthy store but the whole deli area is basically just (obesity, heart disease, and cruelty promoting) enormous hunks of severed animal flesh. Backwards society we live in where that against all studies on the matter and even our own biology meat is still being marketed as a health food (maybe owner has jumped on the keto trend idk). I would've liked to atleast see some some plant based options in the deli section considering they advertise a salad bar online but nope...absolutely none. I gave 3 not one because they did have some decent items other stores lacked in locally...just out of all the health food stores i've been to in recent years this one didn't sit right with me as it seems to be trend hopping not focused on...

Dahlia & Sage is so much more than a local grocery store. Every single person who works there is an absolute pleasure to interact with - genuinely some of the warmest and kindest people you’ll meet. The produce is always fresh, with interesting varieties you don’t usually see, and the pantry staples are thoughtfully curated with plenty of fun, unexpected additions.

I haven’t tried their prepared foods yet, but they always look delicious. You might come in for groceries, but you stay for the people. It’s such a bright spot and I feel lucky to...

Whomever creates these INCREDIBLE promotional chalkboards for Dahlia and Sage — I thank YOU personally for my business here. It is truly my favorite part of supporting this local grocery store. I know for certain every time I visit I will be greeted with a positive, creative, and carefully thought out homemade signage that probably took hours to design.
