Read moreUpselling Precons by an additional $25 over MSRP is disgusting. A little added context. There’s two things that rubbed me the wrong way. Business practice AND Customer service.
Business Practices: I bought a Temur Roar Precon for $45 after taxes. I also ordered the Sultai Arisen a week later, also for $45. I didn’t want to wait an additional week for delivery so I called looking for a Sultai and they had one in Stock, for $70 plus tax. The store raised the price to the lower scalper levels. They, as a store, did not pay more for it, they’re just profiting off of customer FOMO.
Customer Service: When I called and asked if they had one in stock and they confirmed they did, I asked the price. They told me it was “$70” I asked why it was marked up “$20 ish dollars over MSRP” they responded in an exacerbated and condescending tone “ITS $70 doollllaaarrsss”. That’s all they offered. I said ok thank you...

They state that they do what they can to help and work with the tcg player community. However, it is very apparent that their words do not align with their actions. This entire experience involving this store has left a horrible taste in my mouth and everybody else who was involved. I would recommend they practice their critical thinking and...
